What a waste of money. First of all, how dare you charge so much for such a basic hotel. My shower never got hot, my air conditioning didn’t work, and the toilet seat was dirty when I walked in. I got a non smoking room and still smell like an ashtray. There no refrigerator so all my drinks got hot. Honestly, I’d give this hotel ZERO stars if possible. I thought hotels were supposed to make life easier, not more complicated. The only way this place has any business is because of the casino, but that’s no excuse to have shitty service. If not for this wedding, I would’ve laughed in their faces when they told me my room was guna cost $ 160 for the night. I’ve stayed in nicer hotels in Dumas, AR for way less. I only have one thing to say to this hotel. BYEEEE.

This place should be condemned. Visiting this casino while passing through Mississippi made me want to avoid the entire state on my next trip. However I dont think its possible for another casino/hotel to be as bad as this place anywhere in the beautiful state of Mississippi. Its so far dilapidated that its the first hotel I have ever been to that doesn’t even provide its guests with hand soap. Mmmm mmmm I can only imagine the germ infestation here. Don’t forget to call maintenance any time you need your air conditioner or heater turned on in your room. I will say this about the casino staff. They are very friendly as long as you are friendly with them. But by all means be sure and tuck your tail between your legs before you ask for any assistance. If you have ever been to any other Isle of Capri you will note that they are a bit on the lower end but be warned this is far on the ghetto end. Hopefully you will just miss the place and drive by without stopping. Especially considering they cant afford to fix their large sign out front. Plain and simple. A total dump.

The casino was fine. I would never spend the night there again. I felt like I needed to shower after I checked out. The room had walls like paper. I had to keep the tv on almost all night to drown out voices, television, people walking, doors slamming etc. Room was icky. A long black hair next to the ice bucket.

I did not go to the casino portion so this review is just for the hotel. The ac barely cooled the room and eventually gave out totally. We then had to make three calls to the desk and wait 90 min for assistance. The tv was an old style tube with no av ports or hdmi, making a roku or dvd player useless. The wireless network was dial up slow when it even let you log in, which was maybe 25% of the time. We found hair stuck to the shower walls and the place was overall dark.

We are out driving and enjoying the day and came across the Isle of Capri Casino. This place is out in the middle of nowhere Mississippi, right at the Arkansas State line at the West Helena Bridge. Upon driving up, there was ample parking with well kept lots. The exterior is kind of plain, but then… We walked inside. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere as we walked in. There are actually two small casinos that make up the playing areas. Both sites were active, for a Friday mid day, clean and friendly staff. We didn’t play as much as we walked around and enjoyed the atmosphere. We see ourselves going back, when we have the time, and seeing what all this place has to offer!

The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the too Was. Very neat and clean. Just stay away from the little black chick at the blackjack table! I don’t remember her name but last night on the yellow blackjack table with 3 card poker, she was so mean and rude. I was literally in tears at the table! It was awful!

Well, I was doing a little site seeing and stopped into this casino. It seemed to be other small casino’s in here. They had buffet a few restaurants, bistro and a place where they have concerts. The hot concert was H — Town Boys. Old school still got they swing. The concert area was like a auditorium but it meets it’s purpose.

The seafood buffet was pretty good, but very pricey. We decided to stay overnight in the hotel. Rooms were decent, but I would NEVER stay here again. The room was too cold and we had trouble adjusting the thermostat. The water in the bathroom was brown! Yuck! And the bathroom sink was clogged up.

Booked a room for 3 nights for my mother and aunt. The Customer Relations Director took good care of them. I look forward to other excited nights at the venue.

Restaurants are wonderful. And let me tell you the rest. There are many places in the world and the world is filled with many places. The only thing that makes places what they are is people. I am lucky to have experienced this place. The people are welcoming, loving, and most of all, genuine. They say what the mean and mean what they say all the while with a smile and loving attitude. It is a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is always clean and the smiles are always bright. Stop in for the wonderfully seasoned buffet. Leave with your fill and a smile in your spirit.

Didn’t stay in the hotel but went to have dinner at the Calypsos Buffet. Never again. Horrible experience. Over priced. Service was non-existent. Servers acted as if my party did not exist. Food was subpar. Looked and tasted like the food had been setting out all afternoon under a heat lamp. Crab legs were hot and fresh but were just boiled, no seasoning. Place looked old, dirty and unkept. Just not a good experience and I recommend you avoid the Calypsos buffet at Isle of Capri casino.

Wish I could rate this place 0 stars. I went to this casino tonight for the concert and decide to stay in the hotel room. The room I had was decent, clean, and no smoke smell like you find at most casinos. My main complaint, however, is the security guards and their supervisors on the casino floor. When I was walking to the buffet from the casino fIoor, approached one of the guards who spoke to me. Five minutes later, I return back to the casino floor and the same guard who saw me walk out of floor asked for my I.d. I told him you just saw me walking out of the floor so why do you have to card me. His response was«It doesn’t matter whether I saw you or not. I still have to ask for your I. d card. Then I saw some guys who appeared to be younger than me(14 maybe?) and notice he didn’t asked them for their identification card. I told him, «What about those guys who just past you?.» He say in a rude way, «Don’t ask me why I didn’t card them. You hear me. Next time you question me I am going to ask you to leave.» I’m am 24 years old and he talked to me like I was his child. Out of many casinos I went to, this one have the rudest security ever. I will not return here again due to the issue I have with this a**hole and his stupid supervisors. With the economy not in good shape you would think that they will treat you courteous and with respect. But they act like they doing you a favor of coming here and spending your hard a** money on the gambling floor when its the other way around. Pros: *Room was decent, clean, and didn’t have no smoke smell *The buffet is pretty good especially on the nights they have seafood(shrimp, crab legs, catfish) * Some of the staff are friendly Cons * Security guards are very rude and will harass you the whole time you’re there(especially when you appear to be young). * You will smell like an ashtray on the casino floor(even on the non smoking section of the gambling floor)
