I love this place!!! Music, great food and friendly people!!! The martinis are perfect and I don’t say that often but there is talent there behind that lovely bar! There is a deck for outdoor dining! It feels like home! I highly recommend the rock! I love the flaming chourico! Had my 50th downstairs and it was wonderful!!! Honestly they have all your needs covered including catering!

Excellent food. The best Octopus dish around here. Nicely done with veges and potato. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. It was a busy night for Europa, and everything came out on time and done to our requests.

Chef Mike and his team never cease to amaze me! The weekly specials are always creative and delicious. The standard menu has something for everyone… burgers, Flatbread pizza, steak, chicken and my favorite. SEAFOOD! A bonus is that I have a gluten allergy and the menu has so much to choose from and is clearly marked to make my dining experience confusion free. My kids and I look forward to many more meals and great entertainment at this local gem!

Dinner here tonight while in the area on business. It was recommended by the hotel. I usually avoid those recommendations because they usually have ulterior motives but in this case I think it was a good one. It gives the appearance of a diner but not so on the inside. I was alone and went for the Seafood Paella. I must say it was a good choice. More than enough food and the seafood was plentiful. If I’m back in this area I will definitely be back.

The food is always prepared fresh. The menu has a wide variety and there is something for everyone. I have many favorites here, skirt steak, spanikopita, chicken soup, and of course, Mike’s crazy alfredo. My personal recommendation is the Pir Pir Chicken, the sauce is a family recipe and is so delicious that it is now available to buy at Randalls Farm! The chicken is so tender and the sauce has so many delicious ingredients, spicy, salty, sweet and savory, it is definitely a must try! I will be coming back for more :)

My initial review dates back to November of 2013. It’s amazing how time flies. During this time Europa has been anything but stagnant. They are constantly improving this restaurant. New bar, up and downstairs. Upgraded décor in bar, lounge, main restaurant, and banquet facility. Great events — beer dinners, comedy night, music in the bar, etc. The food remains spot on. Great lunch buffet every day, a steal of a steak deal on Mondays, Tapas Tuesdays, raw bar on the weekends, etc. Can’t go wrong. Keep up the great work! Excited to see what is happening next!

I’ve been here on two occasions. The first one was amazing. I took my daughter on a date night and the food was superb. We got steak and shrimp on the black rock and that was super fun. The food tasted awesome and the service was fantastic! I couldn’t wait to go back! However the second time I went it was a completely opposite experience. The food wasn’t good at all! It took forever and wasn’t nearly as flavorful as the first time. There was a magician there so that bumped up the experience. We had the same server who was again amazing. They’ve got to work on their consistency.

I ordered a margarita with my meal. Kristina, our waitress, gave me a musky warm sea water tasting margarita instead. I asked her kindly if she could either take it back or fix it. She snatched it off my table saying«I can’t fix it». She charged me for the drink I took a sip of. Neither her nor the owner would remove the drink from my bill. I’d rather pay $ 8 then argue with Kristins G so I waited 20 mins for her to come back so I could pay while she hung out at the bar. Otherwise foods decent.

Being a waitress myself, I’m usually very easy and understanding about the service I receive when I go out to eat. However, when I went to Equopa last night I witnessed some of the worst service I had ever seen. It was a very slow sunday night, around 7PM. We were greeted by a woman who acted as if we had just ruined her day, then were seated in the corner of the very dark dining room with the setting sun directly in our eyes. After about 15 minutes of sitting there, a waitress kindly asked if we had been waited on yet and went to go get our waitress. It took at least another 5 minutes for our waitress to come to our table, seeming annoied by our presence. We immediately sent in our order, and received our app and our salads quite a while later. When our meals came out, the waitress didn’t remove any of the dirty plates from our table which left very little room for our new plates. Other tables in the restuart which had been vacant upon our arrival still had dirty plates stacked up on them, and tables were never washed before new parties were seated. I will say, however, that the food was of decent quality and this would have been an enjoyable experience had it not been for the unhappy, inattentive, and careless staff. This restaurant holds a lot of potential, but the owner certainly needs to reconsider who he/she is hiring and how they are trained. A little management would go a long way in this case! Until then I will not be returning.

I ordered $ 30 takeout, food was put in a cheap plastic bag. Half the chicken soup fell into my bad prepared food, and that is a good thing, the chicken soup tastes like crap. Never again…

Interior design is worse than the breakfast area at the holiday inn express. Very good beer selection and what looked like a good menu with some Portuguese specials. Was hopeful. Ordered the pan seared duck special and by some miracle it showed up a few minutes later. The bartender seemed confused it came up so soon. I dipped my fork in the sauce and it was cold. Sent it back but made a note of the plating. Got my order returned to me about 10 minutes later and was told by the bartender she personally saw it come off the grill. Well since when does pan seared come off a grill and it was clear it was the same plate reheated in a microwave. I was too hungry to argue so I ate it. I overheard the bartender and a waitress talking and the waitress said something to the effect regarding the kitchen.,“when do they ever know what they are doing”. Probably good food lost in mismanagement and poor execution. Skip it.

My wife and I met another couple here for dinner last week. The bar was packed and included live acoustic music. We were seated in the dining room so the volume was perfect. We could hear the music but didn’t need to raise our voices to talk. Good selection of beers on tap. I opted for the Troegs blizzard of hops. Great beer that I was surprised to see here. For an appetizer my wife and I shared the fried calamari. The taste was good, and the texture toothsome without being chewy. The coating was not as crunchy as I would have liked. For my main I ordered the NY strip cooked on the black rock. This is pretty cool in that the steak comes out seared on a very hot stone and you cook it to your preferred level of doneness. I’d estimate that the steak was ¾ inch thick and ~14 or so ounces. This meal for $ 18 comes with soup or salad, and 2 sides. The steak was a little tough, but a solid value. The chimichurri sauce was very good. The sides I ordered were the sautéed portobello(very good) and the house fries which are fries cut like very thick potato chips. The taste was very good, but once again I would have liked them to have a little crunch to the coating. I could not finish the meal and ended up bringing some of the steak home. We did not get dessert.

Reading through some of these reviews, I’m wondering if I went to the same restaurant… Beyond disappointed and won’t bother coming back. Went here with 2 others for an app/drinks before a function down the street. Sat in the bar area and after telling the waitress we’d need 1 – 2 minutes to decide on drinks(as the hostess never gave us an actual drink menu until I requested one), we had to wait 15 minutes for her to come back. Even after indicating we were ready to order and she told us she’d «be right with us», we waited 10 more minutes. Completely unacceptable. Onto the drinks: Only my manhattan was properly made; the margarita had little to no tequila in it and my fiancé’s Hendricks cocktail was weak sauce; more like a splash of gin covered by other, cheaper ingredients. Not what I expected for $ 9. Not to mention, 2 of the drinks came out first and then the ‘rita came out 8 minutes later. We were told the bartender was training; great idea on a Saturday night… Tried the brussels sprouts w/bacon app; underwhelming. Portion size was a joke for $ 8; maybe 6 – 8 brussels sprouts cut in half, served with a spicy mayo-type sauce. Had a decent char on them but were dry-tasting and under seasoned. No bacon detected. Don’t know how this restaurant has such great reviews or is even in business. Chili’s is a better experience.

Portuguese/European cuisine with a flare. This was my first experience dining at Europa and it was a very positive one, one that will lead me back there again I am sure. The neat thing was I seemed to have been surrounded by fellow«Foodies» sitting at the bar, as everyone was passing around little bites of their apps or main courses. I got to try the fried potato balls and let me tell you they were heavenly. I sampled a shrimp from someone’s main dish with Europa Sauce, outstanding with just enough spice so as not to scare off the faint of heart, this was a totally delishes shrimp dish very reminiscent of Shrimp Mozambique but different enough to stand on its own. The gentleman sitting next to me ordered Mariscada over linguine, it looked fabulous and he said tasted fantastic. Another fellow ordered wings with Piri Piri sauce, a marinade/sauce from Angola, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa, hot as blazes but oh so tasty. If you want to get your«hot on» then the house made Piri Piri is a must, it’s the best I have had in my experience. I started with the vegetable soup which I had to send back to the kitchen, it wasn’t hot enough but once heated it was very good, some of the breads are made in house and were an excellent accompaniment to the soup. The bread came with a black olive tepenade which was simply divine and full of flavor. I ordered Atlantic Salmon with broccoli rabe and sauteed brussel sprouts. The salmon was nicely charred and perfectly cooked as were both of my vegetables. I chose a romanesco sauce, a red bell pepper, almonds, tomato, paprika based sauce for the salmon and asked if I might try their chimichurri sauce as well. Neither of these sauces are spicy and the romanesco was a perfect pair to this very nice fish dish. I washed all of this down with the house Portuguese red wine and had no complaints, it is seriously tough to get a bad glass of Portuguese wine. I didn’t have dessert but finished with an espresso and CRF Brandy. Service was cordial, prompt, efficient and food arrived quickly from the kitchen once ordered. All in all this was a pleasant surprise that deserves a future repeat.

Great food and decent prices. Food was quick to come out and the service was great. The live music was unfortunately so bad :( The spicy chicken alfredo was 5 stars! Be warned it is very spicy which they can tame down on request :)

My husband and I originally came here for the live entertainment but decided to make it dinner as well. Unimpressed to say the least. Since we came for the music we elected to eat on the bar side. The hostess offered us a table tucked away on the side which seemed perfect. Not so much. Once the bands started bringing their equipment in they put their stuff behind where I was sitting which was only about a 4×4 area. VERY disruptive. The staff should have been more informed where the equipment is stored and that table should not have even been there so they could bring in their equipment. They offer live entertainment EVERY Friday night so this shouldn’t have been a surprise. The waitress wasn’t the worst but she certainly wasn’t the best. We didn’t feel like she really cared to serve us. The water was luke warm and smelled like a dirty sponge. Our drinks came in smaller glasses and were given full size bendy straws!!! Our tenderloin tips app was very tender but didn’t taste like anything. There was no seasoning at all! My husband got the salmon and it was extremely over cooked. It was served with a risotto cake which just tasted like a deep fried rice ball — overcooked as well. Definitely not a recommendation. I got a chicken and apple salad. Easy enough! Not for this place. The chicken was so salty it was almost inedible. The drinks were the only thing we enjoyed! We certainly will not be going back.
