Looking for a great breakfast place? Look no further Bob’s has an amazing selection of breakfast items. Cooked to your liking and affordable. Service is good and fast. The coffee could use a spruce up but that’s it. Breakfast is well served at Bob’s!

Clean and inexpensive and service was super. It is basically a breakfast I’d make at home and not something you’d drive out of your way for by any means. It wasn’t special or memorable. But if I was in the area and really hungry then it’s perfect.

You’re doing great. The atmosphere when you walk in is very inviting as we were immediately greeted with a hearty good morning as soon as we walked in. While the waitstaff seems to be by committee, it didn’t matter because everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. 2 of the members of my party asked for different types of cooked eggs, over easy and medium, and they both came out just the way they should, this seems to be rare at most eateries in the area. Great job!

Great food, real food! Great people, real people! Easy to get on and off 90, super cute little town. We felt so welcomed and really enjoyed this stop. Thanks for the fresh avocado and eggs, breakfast was really delicious and like it had come out of my own kitchen.(Pats self on back)

No frills. This place is your typical diner style hole in the wall. But, their food is excellent. My wife had the strawberry«Belgium waffle» and it was full of whipped cream and strawberries. Very good with great perfectly cooked waffle. Daughter ordered 2 chocolate chip pancakes with whipped cream and side of bacon. Waitress looked at her and said«our pancakes are dinner plate size». So she changed order to 1 pancake. When her pancake arrived there were smiles all around. It truly was dinner plate size and she was able to eat half of her«awesome» order! I got # 5. 2 eggs ordered over easy with potatoes, kielbasa and toast. Everything cooked to order and friendly waitstaff. Great job Bob’s!!!

Bob’s was clean and inexpensive and service was super. I didn’t have a bad experience by any means. So why only 2 stars? I’d give it a 2.5 if that existed. The point is that this was basically a breakfast I’d make at home and not something you’d drive out of your way for by any means. It wasn’t special or memorable. But if I was in the area and really hungry then it’s an adequate choice.

This place is fantastic! The food tastes great, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I ordered a pancakes and home fries on my last visit. I, used to the size of IHOP pancakes(that’s where I usually get breakfast), was stunned at the sheer size of the pancakes. They were enormous! They were even garnished with powdered sugar. As for the home fries, they were fresh and absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend Bob’s to anyone who is looking for a place to grab a bite for breakfast.

Wow! Just checked this place out on a whim because I like to find new places to eat breakfast and this was a total winner! No wait at 10:39 but the place was full. Great service, friendly staff and delicious breakfast! Great home fries and they grill your English muffin! I plan on going back many times!

On our way to upstate NY, we were in search of a good, hearty breakfast close to the pike. As always, I trusted my Unilocal app to direct me to the best place for breakfast closest to our location and I can tell you, I was not at all disappointed. Breakfast was plentiful and cheap! We got there a little late, around 11am so the crowd was starting to disperse which was nice, but I can imagine it gets packed earlier in the morning. I had an omelet which was delicious with yummy potatoes!

This is, I believe, the only restaurant dedicated to the paleo diet. I had heard of such a diet before — also known as the«Caveman Diet». But I never thought I’d find a diner in Ludlow of all places with a Paleo menu. Our food was very good. I had the soup of the day — a robust chili-like soup — and a paleo turkey burger with tomato and lettuce. No bun — rather two really large slices of portobella mushroom. Wonderful. I had the mixed vegetables to go with it: zuccini, broccoli, and peppers. A little underspiced for my taste but delicious nevertheless. My wife had some vegetarian breakfast offering that she enjoyed and that I can’t recall. Service was quick, extremely friendly, and helpful — with full explanations of everything I needed to know about the rather unusual menu. Bob himself stopped by. It was the restaurant’s anniversary. The prices were extremely reasonable, even for an unpretentious diner. All in all, a great little experience — well worth driving a little off the highway to find and enjoy. I’m a fan and I’ll be back!

Allergy friendly paleo menu available. All fresh made food. Plenty of parking. The owners are very personable and do a lot for the community. This is a very family friendly, clean and relaxing place to enjoy breakfast, brunch and lunch! This is a hidden little gem, easy off the Mass Pike! Bob and Jenn will take great care of you!

We were looking for a local place that would be a staple in our breakfast line-up locally. So far, we haven’t found what we’re looking for, and after our experience at Bob’s, we’ll probably keep looking. This place seems to be held up by the local patronage. It’s very small, and has a very intimate feeling to it. Everyone seemed to know everyone else, and the waitress(just the one at 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon) was hailed by name as she fluttered around the small floor. A good place to make friends, I imagine. Maybe we hit a wrong time to show up. The reviews here do not reflect our experience. There was a large group of women just finishing their meals, and a few older couples still chatting in the dining area. We were warned that they were«almost closed» at 1:30pm… they closed at 2pm. I’m very, very conscious of not showing up someplace only a few minutes before they close, but 30 minutes seems like plenty of time for us to grab a quick meal and head out. The intentional mention of the closing time ended up rushing us through the meal, both by the waitress and the meal itself. My husband ordered the turkey club and I ordered the cheeseburger club. We both ordered the home fries as a side. The meal came out very quickly, and was hot, but again, we felt very rushed. I also ordered a coffee, and there was only sugar at the table. I asked for some Splenda and never received it. The waitress seemed consumed by closing tasks and conversation with the regulars. She was the only waitress on the floor, so I can understand her overlooking such a small request, but I didn’t finish that cup of coffee… The food was decent, though a little over-priced for what we received. Still, it beats Friendly’s down the street. I think maybe if we frequented the place, and earlier in the day, it would have been a better experience for us. From what I can tell, it’s a place where everyone knows your name, and you overlook the small things because you feel at home here. I regret not having checked here first to hear about the omelets. I would have liked to try them. The menu is pretty extensive, but the omelets seem to be THE thing to order.

After discovering that Hot Table is closed on Sundays, my wife and I were left to roam the greater Springfield area looking for a place to find lunch at 1:00 in the afternoon. After having previously read good reviews of Bob’s Restaurant, we decided(after discovering that the two other places we were interested in trying were closed) to try Bob’s Restaurant. (A quick side note: the address of Bob’s is correct, but my iPhone showed the location as being on Route 21 north of Interstate 90, which it isn’t. It is in a plaza south of I-90 across from a O’Connell’s/Shell. If you plan to «Check In» here, you’ll have to go north towards the Mass Pike.) My main issue with our visit was the expeditious nature of our service. We arrived at Bob’s 40 minutes prior to their closure, and in most cases a restaurateur isn’t going to rush you in and out at that hour, but that’s what happened. I appreciate prompt service, but I would have appreciated more time to sit, eat, and relax. In their(minor) defense, there was only one waitress and many guests, but that should’ve been an indication to the staff that they would not be closing promptly at 2:00PM, and they should have respected that. Instead, they were preparing to shut down the kitchen twenty minutes early despite people still coming in to the restaurant. My next qualm was the waitress herself. Again, it seemed to me that her primary focus was to get us in and out in a hurry, and she acted very much like that was her goal. When my wife asked for Splenda for her coffee, it was acknowledged but forgotten. When I asked for French fries with my turkey club, I was effectively told that the«fry-o-lator»(how I hate that term) was done for the day. When more guests were coming in, still fifteen minutes before closing, they were also being treated like a nuisance and she had to make sure the kitchen wasn’t being shut down. Ultimately, the meal was relatively cheap, I guess; $ 6.50 for my turkey club, $ 7.00 for my wife’s cheeseburger club, but it wasn’t anything exciting. They somehow managed to run out of ice for our water, which sounds like small peanuts but fits in with the whole«this is the end of our business day» feeling I got from how we were serviced. When I see a business has four stars or better, it’s generally a indication that you’ll be pleased with the service, not blown away, but pleased nonetheless. Needless to say I was quite displeased, primarily with the slapdash service we received, and wasn’t particularly thrilled with the food. I would’ve given one star if the waitress hadn’t been as courteous, if disengaged, as she was. We’ll see if we ever go back again; my bet is no.

This place is average, the hash browns arent so great and the place is pretty small but its better than Joy’s up the street so if ur in ludlow for breakfast this would be basically ur only choice.

From the moment you walk in the service is super friendly. Just finished breakfast and I am one very happy and STUFFED customer! Veggie omelet with kielbasa added, cheddar cheese. Yum. Prices are very reasonable and if we were traveling through the area again, I’d absolutely come again. Another Unilocal success! Thank you, Bob, et al.

Bob’s is a small local eatery that serves breakfast all day in addition to other home-cooked meals. The restaurant is located in the Maple Tree Square and seems to be a hot spot for the locals. I received fast friendly service and the food came out hot. I ordered one egg over easy with rye toast with a side of ham accompanied by a pumpkin pancake with whip cream. The food was delicious. I don’t live nearby but if I’m ever in the area again I will certainly stop in for a bite to eat.

I’m not sure who Bob is. They should really just change the name of this restaurant to Oreo French Toast. It’s more dessert than breakfast and guaranteed to induce hyperglycemia, but oh so yummy. The rest of the menu I found to be typical diner fare. Service was polite and my food was cooked well.

The real deal. Great food, great service, great local warm ambiance. This really is as good as it gets. Waitresses could not have been nicer, or more helpful in preventing menu mishaps(«Two pancakes? Did you realize that each pancake is the size of the plate?»:-) Would go there every day if I could, as many customers obviously do.
