First time here. The décor was interesting. The staff was friendly and helpful. Now, to the food! I ordered chicken picata, and it was awesome in my opinion. It came with a side of spaghetti, with the choice of meat sauce, or marinara. I chose the meat sauce. I thought it was very good, and was surprised to see it loaded with meat. If I have one complaint, it was that the garlic bread was over baked, in my opinion. I don’t mind crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside, but, not crunchy all the way through.
Will I go back? Yes! Don’t live in Ludington, but the inlaws do.

I recently put a order in for delivery. I ordered a New Yorker Sub first few bites were ok but then it got rancid i starting to gag an vomited. It tasted so bad. My family will never be back we will take our business elsewhere.

I live in California and work for FloraCraft located in Ludington Michigan. Luciano’s is my favorite place great food, service and a wonderful family owned business! Be sure if you are ever in Ludington to stop by and have a great dinner. You won’t be disappointed!

Food is excellent! Server was quick with suggestions and spot on. Pasta was tasty and the meatballs were meaty, not full of filler. The meat sauce was also very meaty. I would have given 5 stars but had to listen to another customer singing acapella to his table mates. Was cool for the first ten seconds as he had a good American Idol voice but when he went into the Tubby’s Submarine jingle, I had had enough. I guess that’s not the restaurants fault but I’m too lazy to put my finger back up to the top of this screen and change it. Eat here. You won’t be disappointed!

Sign outside said STEAK. Just what I wanted. Read the full menu, no steak, so we order pizza, which waitress highly recommended. After ordering, we hear the same waitress read a list of ‘specials’, which includes del Monico steak. Nice, exactly what I wanted., but too late our order was in. When waitress returns, I tell her that I wished she’d told us they had specials. She told me that they have a sign as you come in. Well, they have dark bar lighting and it’s 90 degrees outside, super sunny. You are blinded as you come in and can barely see. She explained that their ‘regulars’ know about the specials board, and know to ask. So much for getting good service if you are from out of town. We ordered the 4 cheese pizza w/​onions & sausage. Couldn’t find any of either on pizza. Mediocre at best. Will not return.

Stumbled upon this place while walking thru town, food was very good, drinks were good, location was very clean, staff was very friendly and attentive, highly recommend if you are in town.

Very unprofessional. We booked a small 50 person wedding party there. The food tasted good. But it came an hour and a half later than scheduled. We had to ask for a knife to cut our cake. We asked for cake service and I ended up cutting my own cake. We got our main course after everyone had already finished eating. We had to ask for silverware. They weren’t ready the night before when they told us to come set up for our party. We planned this for months and they were so ill prepared I have no idea how these people even run a restaurant! They really need to stop booking for wedding parties, or hire a real manager! When they brought us the bill, our deposit was not reflected uand we asked them to take off an item. They did take off the item but then the second bill was higher than the first one because they added gratuity. I guess the figured we wouldn’t tip their staff after such poor service. But in all actuality their terrible overall lack service and preparation ruined our wedding. Our guests were gracious… So we made the best of it. We had a great day otherwise. But if you want a special dinner at a special place this is not it!!!
For what we got we were over charged!

Pretty good local pizza, good fresh ingredients at a great price. Probably one of the better pizzas in the area and definitley better than any chain pizza you can find.

This place is terrible. Both food and service.
Went with my family over 4^th of July weekend…
Mussels appetizer was microwaved, mussels were like rubber. Sauce was garlic flavored water. We asked for bread several times, it never came.
Ordered an entrée salad to split w my wife– it was wilted and vegetables old.
Pizza was mediocre at best… on level of dominos… Although at least dominos can get your order right… this place can’t…Cook forgot most of the toppings we ordered. Took over an hour and a half to arrive.
Kitchen and staff have zero organization or timing… Daughter’s meal came, she was finished for 30 mins, then the pizza came.
Pasta with clam sauce was extremely bland, pasta overcooked.
Also, bought the Unilocal deal for $ 25…Owner refused to honor it and was very rude to my wife when she inquired why she was not honoring these.
At first she said they don’t honor them in the summer, then told my wife she can leave. Owner is a nut job.
Seriously, Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. We ate a several places while in Ludington that were very good, but this wasn’t one of them.

Just an FYI! Don’t buy the Unilocal coupon. We were told when we got here that they won’t honor it until after October. It does does not say that in the fine print. Buyer beware.

One thing that should immediately raise your level of concern is when a restaurant has a sheet of white printer paper taped in the middle of the front door, at eye level, with the words «NO Unilocal!» scrawled large and seemingly angrily in thick red marker readable from across the street. This sign sums up the three eating experiences We have had there.
They self advertise as a family owned, authentic, Italian restaurant. If that means over priced, rudely received feedback with excused offered from well meaning waitresses with seemingly no authority to rectify poorly prepared meals, inconsistently cooked crusts, ranging from about right to significantly over cooked /​burned on the bottom of the Pizza with overloaded, soggy, top side crust from too much high moisture toppings.
Trying to return a bad pizza that you waited an hour for to a fussy, non– sympathetic waitress, and a manager why tries to explain how a pizza oven isn’t perfect lets you know, somewhere in your subconscious that sending that meal back is not a good idea. I sent back a Stromboli (well over cooked with incorrect items,) only to sit and wait so long my party was irritated while I waited to take my dinner home in a box without taking a bite.
If this family owned authentic sounds enticing, enjoy. The spaghetti is pretty good however.

HORIBLE service, my wife and i both ordered a meal with salad, i got mine, she did not! We ordered cheesy bread sticks for an appetizer, the came out after we were half way done with our meal because they «forgot» and they tried like hell to refuse the coupon deal we bought on Unilocal!Owner says to me «yelp should give money back cause they contacted them once to remove it, it is howevwr still available to purchase so DON’T BUY IT CAUSE THEY WON’T TAKE IT! !!. After a rather unsightly confrontation between the owner and my wife, they finally agreed to accept the voucher and let us be on our way. It was WAY overpriced, and the fettuccine was a very small portion for the price! Food was not terrible, but if that was authentic, I’ll stick with Olive Garden… We will not return to this establishment.

Server was friendly and my pasta was not bad but my salad was not at all fresh and only iceberg lettuce.

Amazing pizza and traditional Italian food! Great service and family owned! I always eat here when I’m in Ludington!

I ordered delivery to the Holiday Inn Express. About 25 mins pizza arrived via a friendly and polite driver. The pizza (four seasons — replace ham with pepperoni) is delicious.

1. From a service perspective I was pretty unhappy I went into the bar to order a pizza to go with a few pals. Bartender it’d take around 20 min for a pie to be ready. You know what? It took over 40 minutes. Not happy about that one.
2. From a pizza perspective their regular pie is definitely not worth ordering. Cheese quality was not too good. The white pizza is pretty good but my buddy says you should head over to a place for pizza down the street «Sportsman Pub.»

We stopped in for dinner since we were staying at the Holiday Inn on our way north. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken right away, although my husband asked what kind of craft beer they had and the waitress could not remember and basically told him to go look at the cooler and pick one he wanted. Thankfully they had some Dirty Bastard Scot Ale. We ordered a 14 inch pizza… my half was pepperoni and my husbands half was supreme. I also ordered a side salad that was brought out quickly but the lettuce was brown and a big soggy. Pizza came out and it was clear that once the pizza was done, they put the «supreme toppiings» on and did not put it back in to cook since none of the veggies were cooked at all. Pizza was very greasy but tasted ok.

Luciano’s holds all the charm of a long standing family ristorante with various pictures on the wall displaying several decades of people enjoying their food. The setting is cozy and can accommodate large groups which is a plus.
We (party of 3) went on a Sunday afternoon and they seemed to be understaffed. Our waitress was running around frazzled and wasn’t able to provide us with recommendations of wine pairing with some of their popular dishes nor information on the food itself.
I ordered the linguini with clams which came with a small (and I mean small) side salad. The pasta was tasty but the sauce was overloaded with olive oil and the coffee I ordered never got refilled even upon request.
This place has a lot of potential and I hope my next visit is the best one yet!

The veggie pizza was delicious. The toppings were generous.
The décor in the new half of the restaurant is a little bland (white walls), but they’re working on the ambiance with live music the weekend we were there.

Luciano’s Ristorante has an extensive menu. Very good, authentic family recipe italian cuisine. Our two eldest grandchildren joined us. We had some great spinach artichoke dip and mozzarela sticks to start. Handmade– lightly battered. We tried the Caesar salad and one of their specialty house salad. They were both fresh, Crisp and dressed deliciously with homemade dressings. We tried several main courses including the traditional from spaghetti with meat sauce two more nontraditional, the veal feel marsala was tender and good portion for the growing grandson, also had one of the lighter pasta with just tomato olive oil and fresh garlic all were very well-​made and the pasta was not overcooked.
For dessert we chose the cannoli they were also made on site and were good. Great family atmosphere and solid service.
