Took my daughter in for a kid’s cut. She has simple, shoulder length straight hair. The stylist was extremely polite and chatted kindly with her as she wet it with a spray bottle, trimmed off about an inch, then combed it. She asked me, «would you like it blow dried?» I said, «sure, thank you.» She blew it dry using a hair dryer and paddle brush, which took no more than 3 minutes on my 5 year old’s hair. She did not use any styling cream/products. We went to pay the bill. Kid’s cut…$ 10.95 Styling fee…$ 14.95 Evidently the«styling fee» was for the blow drying. You have GOT to be kidding me. The stylist was incredibly polite to my daughter and me while she was in the chair, which was less than 20 minutes all told, but she may as well have reached into my purse and helped herself to my cash, as far as I’m concerned. If she was going to charge me 15 bucks to blow dry my kid’s hair, she should have mentioned that before she started. I will never go back.

If I could give this place no stars, I would… If your hair is really important to you, I suggest you go elsewhere to get it colored . I walked in and showed an Asian lady(sorry I forgot her name) and showed her pictures of how I wanted my hair. She told me she knew how to do it! I wanted to go dirty blonde. So silly me, I trusted her. She bleached it but my hair was so dark, it wouldn’t grab the color. So she kept bleaching it. I didn’t say anything because I assumed she knew what she was doing she was a hair stylist ! Anyways, after all the bleaching and dying, she tried it and it was horrible looking. Parts of my hair was brassy, orange, platinum blonde, dirty blonde, dark brown… I told her I did not like it so she told me to come back the next day and she will fix it. Next day I go back, and she starts bleaching my hair like crazy again! I figured«okay. She must have gotten it right this time». When she was done frying the crap out of my hair, the results looked the same! Still a very horrible job. I told her forget it, I don’t want her to try and fix it again. She apologized over and over again. She even admitted she didn’t do such a good job. At this point my hair is extremely dry and damaged. One day she was off, so I went back over there to get my hair fixed once again. It was so bad, I couldn’t stay like that. It was a young lady(sorry don’t know her name either) she had red hair. She looked at it and even said it was a terrible job. She dyed it brown for me and cut it for me! My hair was so over processed, dried out and damaged, that I couldn’t even run my fingers thru my hair! I went to another salon to see if I can get it back to a healthy state, and the stylist said there was no way unless i chop it off because it was so damaged! I asked her if I chopped off all the damage parts, would it be okay. She said yes but warned me my hair would be very, VERY short! So now the only option I had was to cut my hair in layers. I HATELAYERS! The shortest layer was up to my cheek… And the stylist said I still needed to get a lot more cut off to see her every month or two so she can get it back healthy for me. Fast forward to a year(this happened a year ago) My hair is still trying to recover !! It’s grown out a lot since then, but I still have those ugly choppy layers! I went today to get a cut, and I couldn’t believe how bad that lady damaged my hair, that’s why I decided to write a review today. When I called to complain, I heard she got fired. Not sure why. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for!!! And if you go the cheap route, you might end up with something that’s going to cost a lot more to fix.
