Love the calzones. Good pizza. Menu items are worth coming back for. The owner is another thing. Have never seen him be friendly. Always has a sour look on his face. Staff is great. He just is not a friendly person

I’ve gone here multiple times, and well… One guy’s is a place of extremes. I seriously can’t think of anything much better than their calzones! On the other hand, I’ve tried to eat several of their different meals in an attempt to be healthier and they were pretty terrible.

This is one my favorite places to eat in Lubbock! Their calzone is super cheesy and HUGE. Seriously though it’s like a delicious football. Same can be said for the meatball sub. I am a small hobbit of a person, so I usually eat one half there and take the other half home for later.

May be the best pizza and calzone ever! My husband and I have had our favorite pizza place(pizza king, longview, TX) for over 25 years and this may top that one. Ordered delivery two days in a row! Teen boys loved it! Wonderful crust with great flavor! Toppings are great! Calzone is to die for! Staff was not overly friendly but they did their job. We were visiting from out of town and this was a recommendation from hotel staff! Our teenage boys have already asked when we are going back?!

Went here & got a pepperoni & mushroom pizza. It was HUGE! A good size for the price. The sauce was surprisingly on the sweeter side & the pepperoni was very mild. Very tasty pizza but not my favorite. Definitely going back to try a calzone!

Nope. They say they deliver but not out of their«boundaries». We stayed a few blocks from them, with a football team who had a decent sized order. And the foodies on the team wanted a local place(nothing else to do but eat around here). This place asked for our address, promptly said no. Don’t advertise delivery if you can’t go more than a block.

Their calzone is great. It has mildly spicy pepperoni, with just the right amount of cheese. Their bread has just the right amount of chewineess, and is quite fresh. They also have pizza specials too.

Mama mia! Here’s the deal: if what you’re expecting is a genuine-authentic Italian pizzeria smack dab in the middle of West Texas then you’ve come to the right place. It’s true what they say about the ‘zones at this oasis… They have affordable large portioned ‘zones that just keep on goin’ and keep me comin’! The service can only be described as: excellently and impressively adequate. This group of straight-to-the-point no-nonsense employees cut out ALL the frill of the, typical, Italian cuisine shops. ‘Cause the way I see it, all they have to do is give me the ‘zone… and they’ve done that everytime. Not commendable; just gloriously adequate. Bottom line: your ‘zone is gonna be mighty tasty and you’re gonna get it.

I got a pizza to go today. The guy making the pizza was friendly. The girl working the counter(brown hair pulled back, glasses, no makeup, overweight) was not pleasant. As I waited for my order, I noticed the staff seemed very disinterested, I never saw a single smile, most looked like they just rolled out of bed. The pizza was terrific but the servers and the stained ceiling tiles leave a lot to be desired. Call ahead so your time inside is limited. Rating is pizza quality only.

This place absolutely kills it ! Best calzone in Texas without question. Being from the northeast and new to town, this was quite the find

The hype is true: the best calzones I’ve had anywhere. The key is that they got the crust and red sauce right. Sure, the meat and/or veggie filling – and cheese – are important, but it all fails without a good sauce and a perfect crust. The crust was crispy in the right spots and chewy on the edges with that all important oven flavor that the best Italian restaurants achieve. The calzones are what I call my «Death Row» food because they are now on the list for my last meal if I were ever to need to choose one. I wish I’d had the appetite to try their pizza or desserts. Oh well, next time!

One of my first stops when coming back to Lubbock. I always get the garlic bread with cheese and a pepperoni calzone. The service is hit and miss but the food is always perfect so it’s worth it. If I’m taking it to go I always call ahead, I’ve never had a bad experience with it, and my food is always ready when I get there. I don’t like that they charge $.50 for a side of ranch but whatever. Go here. You won’t regret it.

Good pizza, especially the eggplant pizza, but my favorite thing on the menu is the bruschetta; I love the balsamic on top.

I called the other location to order a pizza, only to be told(very rudely) they don’t have white sauce. So I called this location to order and they tell me they don’t have bacon! WTH? I think both One Guys should combine to make Two Guys so they might service their customers with a complete kitchen!

Yum! This place has been around since I went to Tech in 2002(Univ location) and I’m sure since before then. I love the pizza and calzones. Their pasta is portioned generously but the sauce is very watery. Bread comes with the pasta dishes but today is was obviously not fresh bread. They serve Pepsi products! The 16 inch pizza is large enough for 3 or more people to share and is a deal starting at under $ 12. They also have more traditional italian dishes but I stick with the basics. It’s not a «nice» restaurant, more hole in the wall, but it’s delicious.

I’m in town for business purposes and I called to order a pizza for delivery and I was placed on hold. I think they forgot about me. After 12 minutes of holding I hung up. If you are busy, as a courtesy you should have come back on the phone to let me know you haven’t forgotten about me. Shame.
