I did my eyebrow threading with them when they’re in South Plains Mall and this would be my 2nd time in their new location at 50th. The first one was just ok but when I returned last week this girl keeps on talking while threading my eyebrows then i ended up getting cuts… 2 of them! I told her next time please be careful coz I’ve been doing this for years and this is the first time it happen to me. And this lady told me that i was not holding it right?!! i mean, really!!! i was soo pissed!

Definitely the best place to so eyebrows in Lubbock. I’ve been here for the past 5 months already for threading. All the different ladies that I’ve had so for have done a great job. The place has always been very clean and well kept. I haven’t gotten my nails done here yet, but if you have a little girl you want to bring with you they have cute little pedicure chairs for them too. Plus a discount with student ID!!!

This was my favorite place to get me eyebrows done. I went with Apexa because she’s always the best! However, this past time I went with a different woman and she seemed new. When I got done I didn’t like my eyebrows so I didn’t tip her. When I checked my account later I saw that she tipped herself. I wasn’t going to say anything because it was just three dollars. I work at a bank and if something isn’t unauthorized it’s fraudulent. So I had a dispute done to get my money back. I was pretty disappointed because I love eman threading I’ve been going there since I was a teenager. Now I won’t step foot into there unless I get Apexa.

Went for the first time today and had my eyebrows and lip threaded. The girl did an awesome job! She was friendly, and worked quickly. I was in and out of the place in 15 minutes and left with beautiful eyebrows(which probably wasn’t easy because I don’t upkeep my eyebrows as often as I should). The place was very clean and the girls were professional.

First, I need to say that I am VERY picky about my eyebrows. I’ve had horrible experiences with waxing – from sharpie brows to sperm brows. Anyways, when I discovered threading, it was much better because it gives the threadist more control over what shes doing. That way i dont end up with thin eyebrows. I’ve been going to the place in the mall with varied results. Some times I loved them and sometimes I didnt. I finally found my forever threadist here in Lubbock. My brows came out a tiny bit uneven but i think thats because thats how they grow and its not noticeable. Her name is Apexa and shes the owner of the location on 50th. Im not going to lie, eyebrow threading kinda hurts, but so does every other method of removing hair from your face. I also got an underarm wax. I was really apprehensive because it was my first time, but she was so gentle. This is going to sound weird, but it was more like a massage than a wax. I loved her and I highly recommend her! The shop seems kind of sketchy but I enjoyed all the services I got. I will be coming back. Theres also a 10% student discount! =)

Muskarat is amazing at giving you the perfect shape eyebrows. I will never wax again. threading provides much cleaner lines for your eyebrows. YES it does hurt. no pain no gain though right?

Some women, gasp, have facial hair that we’d rather not show! I know, hard to imagine! If you are allergic to wax or just don’t like it and have a somewhat tolerance to pain, try getting your eyebrows or face threaded. I love it! Threading seems to provide a cleaner line(eyebrow definition) than waxing and gets those little white hairs that wax misses. You can get henna tattoos done here too. This place has a sister location on Quaker and 50th, by the McD’s. That one is a full service salon. Hair, nails, etc. It’s just as awesome.
