I took my cell phone here to get a broken screen repaired. It only took an hour, but later noticed that they had cut the side of my phone to repair the screen. Weeks later, the screen started falling out of my phone. The damage they caused to my phone resulted in having to get my cell phone repaired AGAIN. DONOTUSETHEM.

I can’t encourage you strongly enough to take your business to any other repair store besides this one! About two years ago, my son’s iPod had a broken screen, so I brought it to Double T, and they had it repaired the next day. I was pleased with the service, so when it broke again earlier this year, I took it back there. Big mistake. I dropped it off in early May. I called about it every few days, because we were moving to another town in June. Same answer every time, «I don’t know the status of repairs. My technician works offsite. I’ll have him call you.» I never heard from a technician. When I asked the man on the phone if it seemed like a poor way to do business for the person in contact with the public to have absolutely no idea what was happening in his own store, he got defensive and angry. This went on for over three months. THREEMONTHS to fix an iPod screen. Finally, at the beginning of August, I told him that if I didn’t get it back, I was going to contact the police and the BBB. That finally got the technician to call me back, but he told me that he had no idea where the iPod was. They offered to send us a different, refurbished iPod in its place, which we agreed to. It arrived last week. The one we left with them in May was 16GB. The one they mailed to us is 8GB. These guys are incompetent liars and crooks. Do not take your devices to them.

This place has gotten worse over the years. It also has an interesting vibe, as there’s always just one guy working, who calls an off-site person to check on status of products and repairs. The last time we took a phone in for an assessment(for a water damaged iphone 5), we left it for 7 days and heard nothing from them until we went back in and asked for progress. The phone hadn’t been touched and was buried under a pile of other phones. We’ll probably use another repair company in the future.

1. Don’t call when product is finished or delayed 2. Seem not to have any supplies in stock(have to wait for everything to be shipped in) 3. Don’t even test their work before giving it back Took my broken iPad here because they guaranteed it would be ready in 24 hours. Called the next day after not hearing from them and was told the two screens they had tried were«faulty» and I would have to wait about 2 days for a new screen to come in. After 2 days I still didn’t hear from them so I called and the guy I talked to had no idea if my iPad was ready or not. Finally had to go in person to see if it was ready and turns out it was, they just were too lazy to call. I ended up taking my iPad back because there were wifi problems that weren’t there before and was told it would be ready the next business day. Of course, they didn’t call again and 5 days later I find out it still wasn’t fixed because the wifi antenna was torn and they had to order it.
