This place moved from Route 2 in Lowell, east of the town to smack dab in the center of town on Commercial(also known as Route 2). If you’re looking for ambiance, this is not the place. It’s dark, dated, and looks like it’s somebody’s basement. This restaurant was recently forced to be non-smoking, and the owner had a fit, complaining that the non-smoking policy drove customers away. I believe it’s the service that drove the customers away! Our particular waitress was proud to display her surgically enhanced chest by wearing a t-shirt that probably belonged to a younger sibling of hers. That’s fine, low self esteem is sometimes dealt with this way. What is not fine is that she kept forgetting to come to our table to do her job… tend to the customer. The place was not crowded, so that isn’t the reason for her lack of attention to the customer. The food was good. Not hot, only room temperature. It was only a pizza, nothing special, but it sure did take a long time to make it to our table. Did I mention that they were not busy??? The pizza was ok, not the best I’ve had, not the worst I’ve had. Was it worth the wait? No. Will we be back? No, sadly. All we wanted was good service and good food. Ended up with bad service and mediocre food. Lesson learned.
