Dr. Horowitz is a very kind, gentle doctor, who listens well, had a simple blood test for me to take and prescribed a reasonable treatment. I do like her. That’s the best I can say about her personally and professionally. However, the practice as a whole gets a mere one star, because of its very inefficient office management. Terrible. I showed up for my visit recently, calling them ahead of time to make sure I was on the schedule as the weather was extremely bad for driving. No one answered. Red flag there. No reminder calls ever from this office, or why would I call to confirm? I arrived in time for my appointment and the door was locked(my second time happening). I gave a hard knock first to make sure I was there the right day/time. I left a message from the car notifying the office, but no one followed up. This is clearly an issue, as previously, a few patients along with myself, stood at the check-in, while the doctor and the receptionist chatted and rudely ignored us completely. I have never experienced this kind of professional«sloppiness», for patients showing up for them. I was a few minutes early out of respect for the office’s demands. Not anymore. I will not return. My time is just as valuable as the doctor’s.
