Eleni’s Fashions & Tailoring

I found Eleni on a google search, after trying on over 20 wedding dresses, buying one and returning it .Im only 4′ 9″ so most of the dress over powered me. I finally found one that i liked, it was lace and simple i liked it i didn’t love it, UNTIL ELENI WORKED HER MAGIC ON IT! !! she had to take it in, bustle it, sewn cups in for a bra, hem it alot…(were it was lace after she hemmed it she actually matched up the original scallop on the bottom.) Them back was very plan, just zipped up nothing special at all. So she took out the zipper and made it into a corset back, i also bought a sash to give it some bling. She took the sash a sewn it right to the dresd, she cut the ribbons on both side and ended it where the corset started. She basically custom made my wedding dress for me, i cant wait ro wear it next Sunday! ! She did all this work in two weeks, then a few days ago i was trying my veil on and got my engagement ring caught on the end of it… i called to see if there was anything she could do, she had me in her shop within the hour and fixed it in five minutes while i waited. I will 100% recommend her to all my family and friends, i will go back to her for any of my sewing need from here on… Everyone knows how much ive had done to my gown, they cant wait to see me in it… all eyes will be on me and i cant wait to show it off… thank you Eleni, people like you are hard to come by, people that take pride in there work and actually care about there customers need.

Eleni is fantastic! I unfortunately needed my wedding dress taken out and, even with the elaborate lace and beading, she did and amazing job. She was also great to work with; warm and sweet — Definitely recommended for your tailoring needs!

Simply Amazing!
We went to see Eleni with our two wedding dresses and couldn’t have been happier. You walk into a very small shop with dresses all over, art on the walls (that she has painted), and her working corner. Don’t bring the whole wedding party with you — someone might be on the curb!
She was incredibly patient and helpful (the last thing a bride wants to deal with is a rude seamstress). She came up with a few ideas to tailor the dress a little differently and although it seemed difficult — the dress came out perfectly! She was fun and happy to help as we laughed through our fittings. She offers to press the dress, and does so, all by hand. It’s really impressive. She’s a shop of one. Although slightly more expensive than some tailors, you absolutely cannot deny that you get what you pay for when it comes to talent. Both of our dresses came out perfectly … picking your dress up right before your wedding and knowing the dress, the hem, the bustle, etc will be flawless … that feel is virtually priceless.
I certainly will never use another tailor … good tailors are a rare commodity and one to hold onto dearly if you have clothing that needs alterations. I cannot say enough about the dresses she tailored for us …
