Yes it is true. Read the filtered review. The owners know this is the only game in town and the customer service totally reflects that. If you have an issue and call you will be lucky to hear back unless your credit card is expiring then you will be contacted immediately. And if you are unlucky enough to talk to someone about a problem put on your riot gear as you will need protection from the caustic hatred spewing forth.

Sad that I’m writing a review from my phone since the Loudoun wireless connection is so bad that we can’t get a connection. We’ve been told for a year that the service connection will be better but quite the opposite. Thankful for my 4 Gs but annoyed I’m throwing away money on crap service. Dial up seems better.

In 2008, I couldn’t recommend them enough. Left town and came back a few years later and signed up with them again. Their customer service has gone downhill big time. The wireless service itself is fine and there aren’t many service interruptions, but when there is a problem, Loudoun Wireless seem to just flat out ignore my calls and emails. Their network outage page hasn’t been updated since 2008 and their network outage hotline hasn’t been updated since 2009. It’s 2012 now. When my network goes down, it stays down for days on end, through the weekend and into the next week. Their so-called«on call» phone is off as it goes straight to voicemail. This is always the case these days but didn’t used to be years ago. Why give an option for an after hours support phone if you leave it off after hours? The last time it went down on a Thursday it was almost a week before I got service again. In addition, they made promises to me concerning the install that they never filled. Have I emailed and called? Yes. Have they taken any action? No. It’s sad how different they are now. They used to be absolutely great just a few years ago. I now find myself wishing for one of the cable or phone providers to start servicing my area. Even the frustrations that those impersonal big name ISPs bring would be a welcome change to Loudoun Wireless these days. Sorry Gloria. Sorry John. I’m positive either of you could care less, but I just can’t give your company a good review anymore.
