Great place to get wings! Sauces are great! And I love that they’re local not a chain.

Overcooked and not worth the money I make better home cooked wings at home if a were to give this place a grade I would give it D– how can someone mess up wings! What did they ever do to deserve this!!!

I’m visiting from Hawaii and thought I would check this place out on 1÷28÷16. I was disappointed with the service and food in general. I felt that because we were hispanic we were treated differently. We were the only customers in there and yet, it took over 30 minutes to receive our food. Another, non-hispanic family came in after us and received their food about two minutes after us, although they came in 20 minutes after we had been there. We weren’t even given little plates or anything to place our food on. Instead we had to use the napkins that were on the table. Probably will never be going back to this place on my visit back to Colorado!

Love this place! They have a sauce of the month and it’s always tasty. Their hot is actually hot, and the lunch deal is actually a good deal! The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is the wings tend to be pretty small. If you come for a sit down lunch it can be a bit of a wait, but if you call ahead they always have it ready. Great customer service as well!

Delicious! My husband and I venture to Loveland maybe every other week for these wings! We always do takeout, but the service at the counter is always friendly. Wish there was one in Fort Collins!

I’ve traveled around the world and eaten out in many cities, places, and types of restaurants. I’ve seen good, I’ve seen not-so-good. In all that time, I’ve only experienced truly bad service two times. The first was in New York City and the second was today at Wing Shack in Loveland. I can honestly say I’ve NEVER complained about service(until today) and I usually tip very well because I appreciate good service and know how hard folks work. We had an uncomplicated order: two orders of wings, fries, fried zucchini and a wrap. We sat in the dining area and waited. And waited. We watched two other tables come in, order, eat, and leave. We told the gal at the counter we had been there for almost 30 minutes and asked for our order to go because we had a kid to go pick up. She told us our order was coming right out. We waited some more. We went back up and asked for our money back so that we could just leave because we really had to go pick up our kid. That’s when we were told the manager would come talk to us. He stormed around the counter, looked at us with contempt, and just stared at us. We said we’d been there over 30 minutes waiting for food while others came and went. As we stood there, our order finally arrived. Looking to prove us wrong, he angrily snatched the receipt off our bags and said«Let me see, you ordered your food at x: xx and now its x: xx, so that’s … just over 30 minutes.» Exactly! He went on to tell us how busy they’d been and how they had an order for 500 wings. That’s not exactly our fault. Then he told us that they were on a 25 minute wait, so we should have known it would take a while. That’s fine, except that NOONE told us they were on a 25 minute wait and other people had received their order, dined in, and LEFT in the time we’d been there. At this point, we had enough. I don’t mind when places are busy. I don’t mind food taking a while. The key here is communication. Arguing with your customers is not good communication. He grabbed something and started writing, but I told my wife let’s just go he’s clearly pissed off at us. He snapped«I’m NOTPISSEDOFF» but dude… you’re yelling at us telling us you’re not pissed off… what? I told him we’d just go and not come back and he said«I was going to give you $ 30»(on a future order). Frankly, what I wanted was not to be yelled at by someone that just took $ 42 for some wings and fries! How this place gets one«$» is beyond me, but that’s not the issue. Frankly, we weren’t happy at all when we left and we started arguing with him in return. Obviously, we will never go back. Here’s a tip for the manager who, hopefully, will read this. In the future, just apologize for the delay and don’t make excuses. We didn’t take your $ 30 comp, so obviously that wasn’t our issue. The issue was that no one warned us it would take so long and you ultimately blamed US for the problem. We all have crappy days and we all get busy and stuff happens. But you didn’t even TRY to make things right; you came out guns blazing and made the issue so much worse than it needed to be.

Not delicious. The place looks cheap and not as well taken care of as I would like. It’s an awkward layout. Now maybe it’d be worth it if the wings were special or really cheap. They are neither. Seems similar to BWWs to me. I’ll be honest, I’ve only be once. Maybe I should give it another shot.

I am a regular here and These are clearly the best wings in Colorado for sure. Service has dramatically improved with the new manager(VC). The menu has diversified a bit and they now sell beer. You cannot match the flavor selection and quality in the area. If you love wings this is the place.

My family and I love Wing Shack. We eat here at least once a month. The wings, boneless or bone in are all great and the monthly sauce is always delicious. It takes them a little longer than I typically like to wait for my food, but I have learned to allow more time.

Very surprised at the 4 star overall rating. Awful place. Slow service. I was exited when the cashier told me it would be fifteen minutes when they were slow. I thought they would be huge wings. They were not. They were puny small wings that should have been cooked for 6 – 7 minutes. I don’t know. I’ve never bought the small ones professionally or personally before. They were dry. The big ones take 9 – 12 minutes. The sauce was boring. Not any creativity or flavor. It sucked all around. I will never be back. Bad business. You guys must not have much choices for wings in Loveland rating this 4 stars. BADBADBAD. Don’t go here.

Delicious! The boneless were the size of my fist, and amazingly prices [not even kidding, I held up my fist to the food; small hands or not that is BIG]. Good sauce! For the traditional, a bit small, and slightly overcooked. The taste of the sauce, and the pricing on the wings? Phenomenal and worth it! I went for the Thai wings, and let me tell you, definitely worth it. Tastes a bit peanut-y. The removal of the star is solely based on the size of the traditional wings & slight overcookery.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a late lunch before heading on to Fort Collins. We ended up trying out the new cilantro hot sauce at the recommendation of the staff and LOVED it. We enjoyed the sauce so much that we decided to purchase a jar to take home and have since used it on chicken in our own recipes. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. I feel like most wing restaurants take forever to get your order to the table but that was definitely not the case at Wing Shack. A perfect stop for a quick lunch. I will stop by again next time we are in town.

When one has lived in a house for several years(in my case it is going on seven years) and you are cleaning and packing you come across gift certificates and gift cards that you long since forgot. Case in point with my first visit to the Wing Shack here in Loveland. I found a gift certificate for here that I do not even recall. Good thing it did not expire! I am not a chicken wings kind of guy but I am not about to pass up free food of any kind so I was very giddy when I found it. I drove down here from Fort Collins, by the way if you are using a Google powered GPS it is very misleading. It gives you the impression that the restaurant is in a shopping center to the east when in fact it is in a smaller one across the street to the west. I had to figure this out on my own because when I called the Chicken Shack a girl picked up and could not recall what cross streets the restaurant was at. Big help, but whatever. I got past it. When I arrived finally the place was swarming and there was a twenty four minute wait for both to go orders and ones that were staying. That was ok, they got my order and I got interested in playing their video arcade games they had, particularly an old Mortal Kombat game. The time went by fast. I did my order to go but when the food came they had it as ‘for here’. No biggie really, they quickly rectified the situation and always very friendly. My chicken wings were the traditional kind, ones with bones. Not what I would have ordered if I was paying for my order but that is ok. For my sauce I had a Thai sauce on it. The sauce was not too spicy but had a decent flavor. I could have had hotter. The wings were tender for the most part but seemed just slightly over cooked. Overall my experience with Wing Shack was decent. My twenty some chicken wings wound up making two meals for me. As I have said I am not a huge wings person but the handful of experiences I have had with eating them I think I have to settle on a different place when it boils down to where I like my wings the best.

Get your fill of large, meaty wings! I’ve tried a few places around town and the Wing Shack consistently delivers quality. Wings are never under-sauced or burned. One of my favorite sauces has to be the garlic hot… I know that you’re thinking this sounds like a weird combination, hell, I thought so BEFORE I tasted awesomeness!!! The garlic amps the spice in Wing Shack’s already kickin’ sauce. I would also highly suggest trying the sauce of the month; it’s always something good like raspberry-jalapeño or bourbon BBQ. You can’t go wrong. NOTE: be sure to check Valpak before ordering, there is almost always a coupon! Saving a couple of bucks could be just what you need to add a beer to your order ;-)
