Walmart

Worlds worst Wal-​Mart… consistently missed pricing of items on shelves and sale items not priced as advertised… So I live fairly close so I have gone to this store for specific items that have been advertised at specific prices. 2 times out of 4 I have had to call Mgt to fix the price that the register actually rang the item up. one item from the meat area even had the price on the outside of the case but they never changed the tags on the meat.
go anywhere else… the other Wal-​Mart in town is much better… at least you wont get ripped off

I received a gift for Christmas which I was told was from here. I wanted to simply trade it for the same thing but in a different color. The first lady I talked to in customer service was very cranky with me and simply said «not without your receipt» so I explained again that all I wanted is a color that wasn’t so damn ugly. She had to go get the manager now because she «can’t make that call» like it was life or death, really!!! So, the manager comes over, I explain the whole situation again (in clear English), but she kept asking me if I remembered which store I bought it at. I had to explain THREE times that it was a gift and I am not the one who purchased it, which, by the way, is the whole reason I don’t have a receipt. After telling my story over and over again to no avail, I decide to just give up and leave. Their policies are as stupid as their employees are apparently. I think I may have to become a target girl. THANK GOD stupidity isn’t contagious, otherwise I probably would be a blubbering idiot by now!!!

So I stopped in here tonight to try to pick up something quickly. I came in the North entrance to find ZERO cashiers working the fast lanes on the this end of the store. WTF? Why is this is always the case in here and why even have a North entrance? Walked all the way to the other end to check out and now it is self checkout only and the item I wrung up from the pharmacy area requires a cashier to come and make sure I am over 18. So I wait and wait for the cashier and this is supposed to be more efficient? It takes me a ridiculous amount of time to go into this store to get one simple item. I can get through about any other store quicker than the checkout lanes at this laugher of a business. Won’t be back any time soon after this ordeal I experienced in here tonight. What a poorly managed store and bad use of checkout lanes.

Huge place (my first big walmart)… spent about 45 minutes in there looking for local grown coffee and not one team member stopped to say hi to us (my fiancé and i)… its your normal walmart i suppose.

Help! my husband has kidnapped me and dragged me to Walmart.
My opinion and rating is soley (how DO you spell that word?) based on :
–my moral objection to their business practices
–effects on the small business community
–overuse of florescent lighting
–chaotic condition of the clothing department
–that damn blipping noise made by the cash registers
