Loved these guys! They sent Brad out right away — they even called me when they had a cancellation so he could get out here a day earlier, which was awesome b/c my fridge was what was broken and you need a fridge! He was prompt and courteous when he showed up, went right to work, and had the fridgeair humming quicker then I thought possible! They are affordable and reliable — you cannot ask for more, especially when letting a stranger into your house. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing any kind of service, and will use them again if ever need be!

Had a horrible experience with this company. I rarely write bad reviews, I prefer to give praise. In March, we scheduled a simple repair for a top drawer of our dishwasher. No one had checked the kit prior to coming out to our house. The kit was missing parts. It would really be a good idea to check these sort of things before coming for a service call. This was a waste of our time and the technician’s time. While at our home, the technician used foul language when he discovered that parts were missing. We waited over a week to get rescheduled with correct parts. At this time the technician was sick and they had to cancel the appointment. OK, these things happen. On the third try, we had to schedule in the afternoon on that particular day, as we weren’t home that morning, and had to leave again by 5pm that afternoon. At 4:45 we receive a call that the tech still had another stop and then could come by. Sounds like pretty poor scheduling. We canceled. We had already waiting three weeks to get our dishwasher fixed. The next day, I called another appliance repair man in Loveland. We gave him the make, model & serial number over the phone. He came out the next day and fixed our dishwasher in 20 minutes. I never received a bill for the work from Jim and Dave’s, but over the phone they insisted on payment for a service call. A service call where they didn’t even bring the right parts.

We had called in Jim and Dave’s perviously to evaluate our dishwasher and had no issues with their service at that point. When our washing machine went out we decided to give them another call. The worker, Dean, came out and gave us very poor service. We have a stackable washer/dryer and had specified that before he came. Only one guy came out and my husband had to assist him in the removal of the dryer — apparently they never send out more than one worker which I find ridiculous because not every customer is able to help with the handling of appliances. That’s why people have professionals come in to do the work for them! Once the dryer was down we were informed that our hoses were broken and we needed new ones. He told us that he usually carries these hoses in his truck but they had been unexpectedly removed. He had come unprepared to fix what we needed. He told us that we could go get the hoses ourselves and put them in. He did not even offer to go get them himself and actually fix our washing machine. Once he left we had the task of attaching the hoses(which was not the easiest) and putting the dryer back on top of the washer(which was very difficult and took us nearly and hour to accomplish). We were charged $ 68 for 15 minutes for his time and left with over an hour and a half of ours to be spent shopping and installing what we needed. I was very annoyed with the service we got and so I contacted the business to get a refund and was promptly told that I would not be receiving this refund. All I kept getting told is that the worker was trying to save us money by having us do things ourselves. No matter what I said about the service, I was very rudely ignored and told there was nothing to do. I cannot believe a company would offer such poor service and then deny that such bad service had been provided.

I rarely give reviews at all and it is even more rare that I give 5 stars but me experience with Jim and Dave’s warrants it; especially due to Ben who came out to work on my fridge and the people scheduling him to come out. I was in an absolute bind with my refrigerator suddenly not working and having 3 kids 12−15−18 fresh on hand is a necessity. Bottom line was my fridge is almost 20 years old and they just don’t make them in the same size anymore ANYWHERE! To shorten the story if it didn’t get fixed I would either have to remodel my kitchen OR not be able to use my dishwasher. Trust me these were my ONLY options. Originally I was told it would be a couple of days but they had a cancellation and got back to me right away and Ben came out. Ben is on the younger side so I wasn’t quite sure how he was going to know much about a 20 year old fridge. Let me assure you, he knew his stuff! His attitude, demeanor, knowledge and overall pleasantness was so refreshing. He managed to isolate the problem to a disconnected wire behind a panel inside the freezer. How that happened is beyond me as the unit is never moved. It was a quick call for him and he didn’t gouge me for a full fee. Integrity beyond reproach. So very rare these days. I give Jim and Dave’s my highest recommendation!

I had a broken dryer that needed just the felt replaced… After calling every appliance part store in Fort Collins I was starting to panic as my laundry pile grew into a mountain. The felt was either impossible to get a hold of or super expensive. I called Jim & Dave in Loveland and not only was the part in stock, it was much less expensive than I anticipated! They should have been my first call and from now on they will be my only call.
