Ideal Fitness

Ideal Fitness is a great place to workout. They’re always open and they have all sorts off machines so I rarely need to wait for one to open. People of all ages and fitness are there so it’s a very welcoming place. I’ve been a member for years. Come join us.

Been a long time member and just signed my wife up. A lot of great improvements to facilities equipment.

Beware this place is out to get you. They will fast talk you out of your account info, and into a 3 year contract. Which is another thing, but my main complaint is that I felt the management was rude and not very helpful will be posting more after i hear back from the owner, but for now try ur luck somewhere else.

Yikes! Watch out they will say they cancelled your membership and then keep billing you! FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Stay away. Place is also dirty and not pleasant. There are much better places to go so stay away from Ideal.

Absolute bullshit! This place would not let me cancel my membership even though we had a 1 month agreement. Kept charging my checking account long after I had cancelled and made around 10 phone calls to the National Fitness line to get this resolved. Run far, far away. They don’t handle anything at the local store, its all on a National level. Don’t waste your money on dirty gym equipment and ignorant management.

This is the dirtiest I have ever been to. The management is rude and lazy. I would go anywhere else before I went here. Avoid at any cost.

Things were fine for years before Premier took over a couple of months ago. Doesn’t seem to be anything «premier» about it. The place is dirty (treadmills covered in dead skin cells, hair and sweat), several are broken and they have added more equipment and just squeezed it in so you are on top of other members. And twice I arrived between 6 & 6:30 AM and no one had bothered to show up to open the facility at 5. They can’t seem to get reliable help. The morning employees have been invisible and I can tell that membership has dropped off considerably.
And as of mid-​August, the key card thing for ²⁴⁄₇ access still isn’t working.
I’ve been dissatisfied for a few months during all of these changes and I thought maybe they’d get their act together, but apparently it was time for me to terminate my membership. Yes, the rates are really reasonable, but remember, you get what you pay for!

I just joined yesterday and today I had one of three free personal training sessions that come with some of the memberships. They were just bought out by Premier Fitness and they are making some big changes apparently. They hired a couple new trainers (my guy Matt actually went to school for this stuff, masters level education) and they will be going key card ²⁴⁄₇ access as of July 1, 2012. My previous gym closed recently so I have been shopping around for a new place. The rates here are very reasonable, especially if you do a prepaid membership. I prepaid for a year and got 6 months free, plus 3 personal training sessions. The staff seems very friendly and willing to help. There’s also a kids room which is nice if you have kids — luckily I don’t have to worry about that though. :)

Big box with lots of equipment. Employees can’t be bothered with anyone, so you go in — work out and shower or leave. Showers are poor — towel loops busted off, standing water, low in maintenance. Trainers typical for a min wage place — not sure how they certify. Just a big box with new (er) equipment so you are 100% on your own.

This gym has everything you need to workout. Decent hours but not for late nighters as is closes at 10pm. Has weight machines and free weights. Has several different styles of cardio machines and treadmills. Child care available until 7pm. Always a plus. Showers, lockers, etc. No b ball courts or pools and stuff. Good basic workout facility.
