Dorothy’s Catering

Dorothy catered a wedding that I had coordinated. The bride connected with her and made all of the arrangements. I flew into town to help with day-​of logistics. I tried calling Dorothy the morning of the wedding with some questions and to confirm last minute details, yet never heard back from her. When I saw her at the wedding reception, she acted busy and not concerned with my questions. She brushed me off, responded annoyingly to me saying she doesn’t have a cell phone and was doing a wedding that morning. I’m sorry, but you cannot be in catering and NOT have a cell phone. It was 2012 at the time.
She had a bad attitude and was incredibly snappy with me. I was an extension of the customer and her customer service was lacking. Her food was okay at best. The wedding had around 70 guests and they couldn’t keep up, which I’ve had dinner parties for that many and I’ve kept up. She and her staff arrived looking incredibly frumpy with oversized sweatshirts over black pants & white tops. She also puts a 5×7 portrait advertising herself and a huge, unattractive frame advertising at the wedding. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for your catering needs.
