First time eating here, won’t be the last! I’ve had people tell me I needed to try this place out but never did until today. All I can say, WOW! Seems like these days, customer service is a thing of the past. Kudos to Chris & Jason for their awesome customer service this morning! And not to mention recommending the Ky Hot Brown! Best in the state by far!

I’m from Florida and I’m here in Kentucky for work for about 4 months. I make sure to come here almost every Sunday. This place is great. I HIGHLY recommend coming here for breakfast. Anything you get here is quality. It’s not your average breakfast place. It’s like the BMW of breakfast places. Breakfast nachos are awesome, all the Benedict’s are good, everything is literally good. No wonder why they’re always packed.

Awesome as always. No other breakfast compares !! Delicious and creative menu. I love that they ask if you want chewy or crispy bacon. Most excellent service and for my money no better value. Took my extremely critical parents there and my dad said it may have been the best breakfast he ever had. If you knew him you would know that is quite an honor

Everything we had was wonderful. Kind service, food came out in a timely manner, and everything we got was delicious. Got there about 6:45 and it was perfect timing, got a little busy right as we were getting our food but based on how everything tastes, it was no surprise that the place became packed by the time we were leaving. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Louisville again. Things we had: Eggs Bennie with Grits of the Day(cheddar and bacon, just needed some salt), Wild Blueberry Crepes with a coffee, and an English muffin and a coffee. All were pleased. Also, water and coffee pitchers were left at the table which was wonderful. Everything seemed fairly priced for what we got.

Delicious! I think Wild Eggs has the best pancakes in town and the portion size is more than enough for the price. Sweet, fluffy and perfect with some syrup and no other toppings. This location of Wild Eggs has plenty of seating, but it’s popular and you will typically have a wait. There’s not much room to wait around so be prepared to stand outside or entertain the kids in the car until the buzzer goes off. My husband and I ordered coffee and I appreciated a small pot being left for us to enjoy without having to ask for refills. While good, our server later mentioned that for a small fee you could bump up to a stronger version. Also, don’t forget to ask for a to-go cup to take it on the road. In addition to the pancakes, my family had a sampling of their menu — eggs, bacon, muffins. The blueberry muffin is new and yummy, but it has orange zest cooked in and it takes over the flavor. The everything muffin is awesome — a savory flavor which is a nice opposite to sweet pancakes and syrup. I was a little disappointed in the biscuits and gravy. My kids love that dish but they don’t have a typical sausage gravy — it’s spicy sausage. We opted for the tamer bacon gravy but my kids didn’t like it. They said«it taste like mashed potatoes» and they weren’t totally wrong. Lastly, great prices for Kids Meals. Will be back for my next pancake craving!

Wild eggs in just around the corner and so convenient. It’s that one place we always take our friends and family when they come in town. Our servers have always been great. The food has always been amazing. However, the older lady that«hosts» it probably one of the rudest people I’ve ever come across in a restaurant. The first 3 or 4 times I chalked it up to being busy, overwhelmed or just maybe she was having a bad day. It seems to just be how she is period. I’m assuming she has something to do with the franchise owner. I only assume that because she could literally careless about her behavior. I even spoke to a friend of mine and I said the only issue I have there is this one lady. He automatically knew who I was speaking of. Other than her it would have been a 5 star experience.

The perfect spot for family breakfast! Friendly and fast service. The bacon is crispy and so tasty. The muffins are popular but I enjoy the grilled toast. It’s grilled on each side with the perfect amount of butter. Coffee I served at the perfect temp and fresh juice to boot!!!

The best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! I got my breakfast to-go this time. I ordered the Surfer Girl Omelet with grits. It was so fresh and so delicious! The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the veggies were crisp and seasoned well. What makes this omelet really different and so delicious is that it has a layer of cream cheese in the middle of it. The cream cheese makes it so savory and decadent, it is cheesy heaven! The grits were really great as well. They were also savory and had sausage mixed in them. A very delicious breakfast that I enjoyed from the comfort of my own living room. I will be back to try some more of their delicious breakfast and brunch creations.

I know it’s not a place you go to thinking I’m going to have Mexican food but they make some of the best chiliquilas I’ve had anywhere my life has many different menu options off the menu when my girlfriend usually says I want to go to wild eggs what are you going to get first thought chiliquilas but the drink that comes with is a little much for me i still have a sip of it and i usually always have their grits of the day which usually is very good no more story when you go here and you want to try something new get the chilaquiles

The customer service is wonderful. It is always a full house. The bartenders are funny and entertaining. They have fresh pepper if you need it. Fresh water and orange juice. Also an OPENBAR just lovely. I enjoyed my first time and I had steak and eggs instead of a muffin a pancake. I am stuffed

For some reason(I mean it’s RIGHT there ;-), we had trouble finding this location — it’s in the strip mall behind CVS, but they were very gracious when I called for directions. I brought my family who were visiting from Florida. We ordered chicken fried steak and eggs, french toast, kid’s pancakes, and Eggs Bennie. As usual, based on my experiences at other locations, the food came out fresh, fast, and tasty. I didn’t love their french toast as much as I assumed I would(just personal preference: The bread is too sour and porous), but everything else was delicious, and my family was very pleased… and stuffed. They didn’t like the savory muffins, and they found the grits(of the day) too salty. A few days later, when they saw the Dutchman’s Lane location, they asked to stop for brunch. :-) Note for all the mothers with tots or babies: There’s a changing table in the ladies room.

I’m not an egg person so don’t be put off by the name. This place has first rate breakfast/brunch/lunch even if you don’t like eggs. They have such a large selection it was hard to decide what to order! The apple bourbon crepes are excellent and aren’t so heavy you’ll be snoozing all afternoon. They’ll custom order stuff too, want bacon grits or ½ waffle ½ french toast? They’ll do it for you and even suggest it since service is really friendly. They also have cheap bloody Mary’s, mimosas, and tasty Irish coffee drinks. I’m not always a huge breakfast person since I don’t like eggs and I really enjoyed this place so that says a lot. I’d come back here for breakfast or lunch.

One of the best brunches I’ve had! My sister got the Kalamity Katie Benedict with corn cake and it was different and delicious! It does not come with hollandaise sauce so you’ll have to request it. I got the Farmers Market skillet and it was packed with plenty of veggies and two over-easy eggs on top. We also ordered a pitcher($ 25.99) of pomegranate mimosa and that was tasty and never-ending! I had 4 glasses and didn’t even put a dent in it! Needless to say, I walked out a bit tipsy so maybe that’s why I was so happy with this place! One of my favorite things to look at was the very creative egg photography! Loved it!!! My sister loved the brown eggs in glass near the waiting area! One thing I will say, maybe cause I’m from out of state, but even though water had a lemon & ice cold, it still tasted like tap water.

Breakfast was ok. There was some creativity to the menu but mostly spicy dishes. Our waitress was excellent. The home fries are not really anything more than those little frozen squares… not real fried potatoes. Pancakes were fine but nothing to write home about. Fairly pricey for breakfast.

We SOSO wish we lived closer to a Wild Eggs. We have family in town so we brought them here for breakfast on the way out to the Outlet. So good and great service. We came early and missed the line(the wait can be long if you come during peak times). I got the Lox Eggs Benedict and my wife got the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. They each came with two so we traded one each and got to eat both. We had a 4 and a 1 year old with use and they ate all their meal so also a bonus. Everything I order here is always great. Love love love!

I was in town visiting and found this location on Unilocal. The menu is sufficiently compete to make a decision difficult. I finally settled on the country fried steak, eggs and grits of the day. Being a person that consumes copious amounts of coffee, I really appreciated the carafe left at the table. The grits had bits of mushroom and provided a great flavor. I thought that the country fried steak was over cooked. The coating was beyond the point of crispy and the steak was too well done. The gravy used bacon which did not provide the additional flavor I would have liked. I will try them again. The pancakes did look inviting.

Meh… very«just ok» breakfast and kind of crappy coffee with slow service. This place is kind of like First Watch and I think I like First Watch better.

My oh my! This is my favorite breakfast place in Louisville! Really, all of the Wild Eggs locations are my favorite, but this one is less than 2 minutes from where I live(dangerous!!) and the one I go to most often. The service is always friendly and attentive, and I’ve never ordered something I didn’t like. I’m in a long term relationship with the everything muffin, and I will get that every time I go! The skillet potatoes are honestly the best I’ve ever had, and my go-to order is the surfer girl omelette. The freshly squeezed orange juice is like drinking the nectar of the gods, and when you order coffee they bring a whole pot to have at your table. It’s 10 pm as I’m writing this and my mouth is watering just thinking about Wild Eggs… It’s a shame they’re not open 24⁄7 cuz I would be heading there right now!

If you want to have the best hot brown in Louisville with egg added to it, please go to Wild Eggs. Please. My only regret is that I don’t make it here enough. The food is always delicious, & I’ve never had service that I couldn’t write home(or Unilocal, rather) about.

Sweet, savory, or both. NOJUDGEMENTS. Ahh, The joy of a good brunch and Wild Eggs did not disappoint… Need to start by talking about their decorations, OMG there’s egg pictures on the walls, break eggs, eggs in spoons, eggs with orange raps, very funny. The labels for the restroom have pictures of Hens and Roosters! Cutest thing ever. They had a wide selection of the BEST brunch food Egg Benedicts. I went with the traditional way of making them Eggs Bennie, you got to try some classics to determine if the restaurant is good or not. Perfect poach egg, tangy Hollandaise sauce, the right cut of Canadian bacon, all and all AMAZING! Also got some granola to go, needed some sweetness, it was really good. The restaurant was very open and fresh, we went during lunch rush and we still got seated quickly. The waiter was super nice and the food came out very quickly.
