The LASIK Vision Institute

My friend suggested I buy a groupon for the LASIK Vision institute and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! After 20+ years of dealing with contacts and glasses, I decided it was time to take action. A new city with new allergens (screw you, Louisville) forced me to go ahead and make this decision now!
I purchased the $ 1400 plan for both eyes and also bought the $ 1000 lifetime guarantee. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and literally makes it seem like very routine, no big deal surgery (which it really is). I had PRK, and the doctor had very good, detailed recovery instructions for me. I probably would have taken a little more time off from work for recovery as I work in a florescent lit environment, but overall, once I made it through the first month of recovery and blurred vision, it was the best decision I ever made.
Very nice touch at the end with a handwritten card from all the people in the office congratulating me on my new ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision.

I bought a groupon for 1400 for both eyes… FANTASTIC buy! They got me right in for appointments, little waiting, and very friendly staff. I went in on the day of surgery and ended up paying 200 extra for eye plugs (to help reduce dry eyes) I don’t know if this actually worked or not because they still aren’t very dry? Who know! What I do know is it took about 30 minutes from waiting room, prep and surgery, super fast! Surgery room about 5 minutes. (It was a little scary, kind of felt like an alien operating table, but no pain).
I slept a lot over the weekend and tried not to strain my eyes. I had light sensitivity all weekend and very watery. I was able to drive on Monday! Best buy ever!
Oh yeah and that price includes all pre-​and post op appt for a year:)
