I used to really like the place. They had quite a few machines; it was fairly clean and ample parking. As of today though I will never go back because their customer service sucks and it has really gone downhill. Nowadays when you go in nearly half the machines are out of order and this is generally indicated by a piece of paper taped to the machines. Today a lady apparently strung out on something was walking around talking to everyone and eventually had to be asked by the elderly attendant to leave. I have washed my clothes at this place nearly every week for 2 years and get more and more frustrated by the increasing number of equipment malfunctions. Today an equipment malfunction nearly ruined about 300 dollars in clothes of mine. I was washing colors in medium heat for 16 minutes and the dryer started smoking after only about 10 minutes the glass nearly burned your hand to touch and when I opened the door the smell of smoke was all over the place and steam or smoke came billowing out of the dryer. I couldn’t even touch the clothes they were so hot. As I gradually got them out the clothes all smelled scorched to me. And my favorite NIKENE Patriot T-Shirt was ruined as the decals were all basically glued together. I had to ask basically 3 times if I could rewash them because the smoke odor in the clothes and the lady would not let me do that. I said«My clothes stink» She then got this elderly man to smell them and he said he couldn’t smell anything. I told her she needs to get someone else to smell who may not have their sense of smell deteriorating. She went to this other individual who placed the clothes up to his nose and immediately pulled them away and said they smelled scorched, only after that did she let me wash my clothes again. After the rewash they still smelled kind of funny but I decided to let it go because it is basically exercise and athletic gym gear. However my NE Patriot shirt that my kids got me for Christmas was still ruined. The owners were supposed to be in by 9 but it was already 930 and they hadn’t arrived as of yet so I left my number for them to call me. They hadn’t called me as of yet. I called back and a different lady told me they were going to call me so I asked for their number and she wouldn’t give it to me. I said I needed to find out what they intended to do about the shirt. She said they already told her to tell me when I called that they were not going to worry about it that they are not responsible for any damaged clothes in their washer and dryers. I asked her why would they tell you to tell me that if they were going to call me? I then asked again for their number but she would not give it to me. She also told me again I get nothing. They are not responsible for damaged clothing. The lady at the shop finally called me back and gave me the number to someone at the office whom I called and they said I messed up because I dried it on high, I said I didn’t dry it on high I dried it on medium. She told me the lady she talked to said it was on high. She also said I called multiple times and harassed the ladies. I called one time and asked for the number and called the lady out for lying to me.(Manager was going to call/manager told her to tell me no reimbursement for shirt when I called) I said the lady knows dang well it wasn’t on high and we can all have a meeting together to clarify what happened and call her a liar to her face if she says it was on high. She told me she didn’t appreciate that type of language(That type of language? Liar is offensive?) Worst thing about it was the sign that was up on the dryer that scorched my clothes had already fallen down before I left so someone else will get their clothes scorched. The Suds bucket will so oh well were not responsible and be done with it.

I was using their drop off service for over a year and this time they misplaced half of my work clothes. I tried to find out what happened and they accused me of lying about bringing in the clothes in the first place. I’ll be finding a new place to go

As far as laundromats go, this one is pretty good, very clean, easy to use, and with a variety of washer/dryer sizes. It is a tad bit expensive, expect a large load to cost you about 6 – 7 dollars. It is card based, so leave the pocket change in washer, err, at home in the couch! There is a small arcade, and a couple tvs, so you have options for entertainment besides being hypnotized by the washers on spin cycle.

Yeah, you see it right, a laundromat. I’ve even got pictures but my phone died so you’re just going to have to wait. Anyone that’s lived apartment life or even had their washer/dryer die on them knows how important it is to know where to find a reliable laundromat. It’s nearly as important as knowing a good mechanic. Well, maybe not that important, but no one likes dirty clothes. Suds Bucket is likely one of the larger laundromats in the area with probably around 30 washers of various sizes and as many dryers. They’re not a coin laundry though so forget bringing a pocket full of quarters, they use a card system, where you purchase time on a special debit card. It’s pretty efficient and fairly simple to use once you get the hang of it. An arcade room for the kids and enough floor space for them to run around on makes this one of the more kid-friendly laundromats as well which is a plus for me. The other major plus is Sunergos is just around the corner, so it’s not to difficult to sneak away for a few minutes and enjoy some fantastic coffee.
