I have been to other speedways and this one is the worse. They are constantly a mess, unorganized, never have what I want in stock, the employee’s don’t care and have bad customer service, and the managers are no better. There are always homeless people out front begging for change. There is this one guy who works the night shift who is a total creep and annoying.

Employees are not overly nice but adequate. You do have to battle past the bums that always hang out in front. Fuel prices are a little high but that’s normal for the area. If it’s Friday or Saturday be prepared to stand in line.

3 stars because it’s walking distance.
Apart from being heckled for change and encountering agitated employees speedway isn’t all horrible. After all it’s the neighborhood gas station. Still haven’t got any good deals or cashed in with the speedy reward cards. Now when I can id rather take the trip to Walgreens but when it’s after hours and it’s time to pick up another case then speedway is just across the street. Gotta love the people watching at 2am too!

If you bank with Chase, they’ve got an ATM with your bank’s name on it.
This gas station is perfectly suited for someone in the Highlands trying to get on I-​64 and needing to make a gas pit stop along the way.
It must also be perfectly suited, location-​wise, to the entire city of Louisville because there’s hardly ever a time where Speedway is empty. This is not your creepy «is it abandoned or not?» gas station. But you all know this, since clearly you all go to this gas station too. It’s so hustle and bustle here you’d think there was something more than gas people were after at this Speedway.
