Slice of NY

Pizza is always at the top of my list and this place is very interesting. Since I have lived in Louisville, this space has been occupied by three different pizza places and all have been pretty good. It started with Brick Oven Pizza, which was great. Then it became Fat Tony’s, also great, Now it is Slice of NY. Initially they kept some of Fat Tony’s menu which was nice because I loved the Bourbon chicken pizza. Now they have let go of Fat Tony’s items and have tried to hold true to their name. It is definitely a New York style pizza and an Italian menu. The pizza is pretty good and you can buy it by the slice, which I love! You have to try the garlic knots they are excellent. My only knock on this place is the odd dine in hours. Readily available for carry out most of the time, but the dine in option is limited. If you are in the mood for a slice, give them a try!
