Travis King and his crew are absolutely amazing. They are so talented. They did my 4^th tattoo and I will never go to anyone else ever again.
My husband was getting a piece done on his arm by Travis. We were just chit chatting about non sense and my tats came up and I was telling him how my first one on my chest just could not hold. And I told him about my disapproval of another artist on how he treated me with my wrist tats.
After he got done with 4 hours worth of work on my husband, he sat me in the chair, got all new equipment and went over my chest tat and filled in my heart on my wrist for absolutely free! I was amazed how generous he was. He is an award winning artist and he was that sweet to do something for someone he just met for no charge. And the ink on my chest has held on!
So of course I got an appointment with one of his guys. And Jason did a fabulous job on my neck piece. Price was crazy reasonable! Love this place!!!

Much more than a tattoo joint, guys. I wanted to feel like my artist was bonafide I that’s just what I got. This organization features an art gallery in the front of their establishment which is architecturally beautiful. Here’s a quick rundown of the high points:
Customer service: **** — no 5^th star because i was meant to leave a deposit for my appointment but the feature wasn’t enabled online. The free bottled water is a nice touch and every employee was smiling and engaging.
Website: **** — again, no 5^th star because of the above but it was easy to navigate, find, and graphics were high quality.
Cleanliness: ***** Pretty much up to surgical standards all around.
Quality: ***** I have to give it 5 even though this was my first tattoo. It was very simple, only black, but it turned out exactly as I wished and I have no regrets.
Originality: ***** These guys are artists, to be sure. You should see the number of high walls they have which are covered in awards, and well deserved. Exceptional work.
I can easily recommend them and Travis, my artist. I’ll use him again — if I can take the pain. :)

I got my first and likely only tattoo at Prophecy Ink by Amber. I say likely only tattoo because I have never been able to pick things I truly think I can live with forever. My tattoo is a memorial of sorts to a friend who passed away unexpectedly and a reminder to me to live life the way she always did. Without fear, to the fullest and without regret. I had a wonderful experience at Prophecy ink. I love my tattoo, I loved Amber and I love the building. It’s awesome that there is an art gallery inside also. It was very clean and as professional as you may expect for a tattoo place. If I ever do decide to get another tattoo I will definitely return to Amber. I absolutely recommend her to anyone!

This shop is very nice! Love the building and art. It’s very clean, staff is professional and helpful. I’ve been getting a sleeve done by Travis. Still in progress, but very happy so far. His portraits are amazing. Very happy that I chose to get my work done here.

Prophecy Ink is the absolute best shop in Louisville to get a tattoo! Travis is an amazing artist and he only employees great artists! Whatever it might be your looking to get he has the ability to get it done whether it be him or one of his too notch artists. Very clean and safe facility! Plus while you wait you are greeted with a tour of the art gallery. I have to say it is a really great experience and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a tattoo to check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

I wish that I could post photos of the incredible work that I have collected from Travis. I beautiful, clean shop with great people. After an incredible ¾ sleeve, a chest piece, and an amazing thigh piece I will certainly be returning for more. Anyone interested in photos of this work, please let me know, I will happily share.
I do, and will continue to recommend Travis King and Prophecy Ink. I have collected tattoos fro quite a few shops and artists in my years… Prophecy is hands down my favorite. I am proud to wear pieces of Travis King’s art, and I look forward to getting more.
