This is maybe my new least favorite place in Louisville. I walk in. Stand in line for about 5 – 10 minutes. Two employees working and neither one ever spoke or greeted me. Another guy walks in and is quickly greeted. Sadly, all three were black. I have never played the«reverse racism» game but this clearly was. I’m in Line for 5 – 10 minutes, ignored. Someone else is greeted within seconds. Not like I was hiding or invisible. Horrible customer service. Both employees should be fired.

I don’t usually write reviews about chains, but I was so impressed with the customer service at this Penn Station that I wanted to give them a shout-out. When we walked in, staff members said hello and were super friendly taking our orders. They were also above-board polite when they brought us our food, which was right out of the oven. The store was clean, and I’m partial to the chicken teriyaki sandwich. It always hits the spot. If you like hot subs then you’ll find something to like here.

Super friendly staff who always seem to get my sandwich done just the correct way.

I still miss the Bardstown location of Penn Station when I visit Louisville, but there’s something about the chain that keeps me coming back. for one, it’s definitely the fries, and for two, because they have malt vinegar available for said fries. If you’re looking for a lighter sandwich, they usually have a «lite size» that’s not on the menu and a proportionally cheaper than the 6″ sandwich. Something to remember if you’re like my hubs and«have to» get two cookies whenever you say This location in particular has a really great customer service focus — their management must be really on top of it. We’re greeted when we come in, and they often would bus our table before we got a chance to. Definitely a higher quality of service than I’d expect from a chain resto.
