Cold beer and decent food, but if you eat don’t come hungry… You’ll get hungry waiting. We watched the cook take a shot everytime he walked out of the kitchen. My friend waited 1 ¾ hours for his food. Waitress was sweet and even acknowledged the cook was«tipsy»

I haven’t tried O’Connells food, but I can say that their Irish Car Bombs are the best in town. It’s nice to have an Irish bar in the area. It’s a quiet hometown bar that does amazing things for the community. The location is different, but it’s perfect for the person who just wants to grab a cold one and not be bothered by the loud club scene.

Great local spot for a drink and to catch some games. Lots of TVs and plenty of «bar food», but by no means bland. My burger was very well seasoned and flavorful– and you really can’t beat the price. Loved the Bourbon selection– woohoo, Red Stag! If you are looking for some nightlife, they also have a good selection of games, darts, etc… and often host live music. Definitely will come back!

O’connell’s is all you could imagine in a nice Irish Pub. Great food, fun atmopsphere, and amazing prices. There is one main section of the bar with 4 or 5 TVs and a smaller section in the back with pool tables and darts. They are probably the most famous for having paper airplanes made out of dollar bills stuck all throughout the ceiling. I’ve been visiting this bar for several years now and it by far has the best St. Patty’s day party. If you are in this end of town and want to watch a game or even just have a few drinks with friends it is well worth checking out.
