This is about as old-school as it gets, the type of barber shop with a pole outside and lots of friendly folks and conversation inside. I go here when I don’t feel like waiting 2 hours at Derby City Chop Shop or making an appointment and paying a lot somewhere else. I can get a haircut for less than $ 20 and usually in a prompt manner. It’s nothing fancy but then again neither is my hair. This place has been in business for a long time and with good reason. If you want a basic haircut or a shave, come here for the classic touch. Say hi to LeRoy when you do.

Carol was a very pleasant barber. The only caveat I have to give is that she really takes her time. It depends on your personality as to whether that means slow or meticulous. Their prices are a little on the steep side. I suspect that’s due to their location. That retail space can’t be cheap.

Nice. Old school barber shop, but a little pricey. They did a decent job but no straight razor trim work. Also, I don’t like my barber chewing gum like a cow in my ear while I get my haircut.
