Kroger

now that the remodel is done, it is easier to navigate
While I am used to a larger grocery store, sometimes I feel the selection of something is lacking, but I am still normally able to find what I need. It is a convenient location and is my grocery store of choice

Such a plain ol’ Kroger. I give you a solid 3, mostly because you are conveniently located but nothing exceptional. If I want cheaper produce, I’ll go to Trader Joes, or better yet, Lucky’s Market (for cheap AND quality!) — but sometimes the sales are decent depending on the seasonal produce. Usually, everything is pretty mediocre. Honestly, the nicer Kroger is in Highlands, but since I know exactly how this Kroger on Goss is set up, I usually just end up here. I would never complain if Goss Kroger gained a bit more attention and care. Please note that the employees are friendly and helpful when need be.
Kroger tip: something you definitely should do next time you go to (any) Kroger. Head to the meat department, order a salmon or chicken and ask for them to put it in a foil bag that can be used to bake the meat. You can also add (for free) lemon, dill, thyme, rosemary, cilantro, butter, and any number of premade spices. I highly recommend this. It costs nothing and keeps my cooking time down when I’m in a pinch.
