This is MY Kroger store! Why? Cause I live nearby AND they have the BEST-EST Starbucks in town and the BEST-EST floral department! Tiffany makes the best coffee drinks… tell her I sent u! And Meagan and Susan keep the flowers beautiful.

The store is large and clean. There are plenty of produce options and organic foods, but my cashier, Jake was unbelievably rude. He ridiculed and scrutinized everything I bought. He said my organic fruit was just bleeding heart, liberal, trendy tree-hugging, progressive, B. S… He said my beer was just overrated swill water. He complimented my sweater, only to say that it probably was compensation for something else. He said he could never be my friend because he trusts nobody who eats lima beans. So, finally I ask Jake: «What the heck is your problem, kid?» He tells me «I just call it like I see it. If you want your check out sugar coated then go Wal-Mart.» I told the manager after I checked out, expecting her to be appalled at Jake’s behavior, only to hear her say, «Jake is one of our faster cashiers, and he was probably right about what he said, except I think your sweater sucks.» And they played crappy 80’s music over the intercom. It was a surreal experience.

Had a good shopping experience, and even went to Starbucks for a cup of coffee. When we were checking out, our bagger, Kaylan, was very rude, and didn’t even speak to me when I asked him to use our re-useable bags. He didn’t look at me once, and talked to our cashier, who was very good, the entire time. Unacceptable behavior, but a great store.

I went for a cup of coffee inside Kroger at 5pm. A sign read back at 5:30 on break. Don’t they have more then one person working? What kind of place advertises coffee with a huge sign that says«Starbucks» then doesn’t have the adequate staff to man it. I walked out and won’t be back.

My favorite Kroger in Louisville! The store is large, clean and friendly. You can find a lot of the items for cheaper at Walmart but I still like coming to this Kroger better. The meat selection is larger, the produce is fresher, and there’s always someone at their station ready to help. My absolute favorite part is the florist department, they got the most variety and the freshest selection of flowers of any Kroger I’ve ever visited. Lots of bouquets on sale all the time, I can always find bouquets on sale for $ 5 that can make 5 vases of flowers at home. There is a very nice Starbucks with seatings and a Sushi station with sushi chefs at the ready.

BYFAR the nicest, cleanest, friendliest, and abundant Kroger is all of Jefferson county as far as I am concerned! My family in Louisville speaks of the employees here as if they WERE family! Customer service is impeccable; pharmacy is consistent and thoughtful; florist is kind and friendly; even the sushi people know us by name and remember our favorites! And with a 5⁄3 on premise, there is really no need to go anywhere else. Way to go, Kroger — and thanks for being part of the Middletown family!
