I’m extremely disappointed to have to write this review. Let me begin by saying I am not a doughnut expert but I do know what it suppose to look and taste like. I got a great idea to create grilled cheese doughnuts on my snow day. And to my delight, Krispy Kreme was open. I asked around and heard they were the bomb diggity… So I hiked through the snow to grab a dozen. I wait over five minutes to be greeted by two workers that were not that busy and saw me standing there awkwardly. When the girl in the back came walking in front of me, I smiled and attempted to say something… Only to have her look at me multiple times and walk away. A simple«I will be with you in a minutes or so» would have sufficed. I didn’t even get that. And by the time I was confronted, he just stared at me saying nothing. I began with, that damn snow… To break the mood. But it didn’t work. I can understand being in with the snow coming down but I am NOT down with being ignored and rudeness. I grabbed my dozen and by the time I got home, I opened it to find crappy glaze falling off wrinkled doughnuts. Not impressed with my experience or doughnuts. They did taste good though.

Donut quality and taste? 5 stars. Speed of service? 1 star. There is absolutely no reason to wait 20 minutes to get a dozen glazed donuts!!! I love Krispy Kreme; they have the best glazed donuts. But for fast service, don’t even try to go anytime in the morning hours; you’ll wait forever.

I had never had a Krispy Kreme donut until I moved to Louisville. But it is certainly a rite of passage. The glazed confections are especially delicious if you get them just out if the oven. Look on e-Bay for fundraising cards(bogo) to use whenever you go. That makes 2 dozen about $ 8.50. Talk about sweet!
