The waiter staff is rude and the owner is suspect. Hiring ONLY16 year old girls? The BBQ wasn’t good either. Go to Mammas BBQ. Better food and the wait staff is great as well.

Best BBQ in Louisville KY. Hands down. Trying their brisket, it’s incredible. Their potato salad and slaw are the best I’ve had anywhere and make sure you finish off with some Cherry Donna’s delight. BESTBBQEVER. I’ve been eating it for 17 years.

The old grey mare just ain’t what she used to be. My first visit here years ago led to several years of eating in and taking out. Not sure what changed — ownership maybe? It’s just not as good and has gotten expensive. People who work there are friendly though.

the pork bbq was cooked well, soft but with a bit of chew left in it. bbq sauce was a bit sweet for me, but I’m from NC where pork bbq sauce is vinegar based. the brisket was tender, juicy and flavorful. it’d had as hint of smoke and didn’t need any sauce. the beans had good flavor and bits of meat. the macaroni and cheese was Velveeta based but better than many homemade I’ve had. all in all this was decent bbq, well worth the price.

Been to Juicy’s a couple of times and both times the BBQ has been disappointing. I was hoping for juicy brisket sandwich and left with a sandwich that was not up to what I expected. The portion size was small and the meat was dry and portion size small. The sides were good. Service was a group of teenagers that were more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. This place has tons of potential but was disappointing.
