This place has wood paneling. Lots of it. And wood floors. And cheap beer. Old guy behind the bar looks like Bing Crosby and that’s worth two stats in itself.

Louisville, KY
This place is one of those great local finds. Definitely a «neighborhood bar,» they serve strong, no-​frills drinks at reasonable prices. It seems to be more UK-​friendly than UofL-​friendly, but I have never seen anyone receive poor treatment for their college affiliation. Their food offerings are decent, but nothing beyond the usual bar food. It’s a good place to meet your friends and have a cheap night.
