I highly recommend this place. I took my generic Craigslist sewing machine in for repair. The owner explained what it would cost. He showed me a pre-​owned Husqvarna machine that was an excellent buy back in the day. I am glad I didn’t repair my machine. This one is so much nicer and with many more features. The owner was not high pressured at all.

I’ve been to this local store more than once. The owner is always very friendly and super informative about the products. I’ve had a few things serviced with excellent results. It makes me feel good to have a local shop to be able to go to. I would highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend this shop! The real deal when it comes to getting exactly what you need within budget. I actually went to see about fixing my vacuum after having it serviced just 2 weeks earlier and found that the brush part was put on backwards from another repair place, which told me that I needed a new vacuum since they serviced it and charged me and it still did not perform as it should. Highland vac knew right away what was wrong fixed it gave me a new belt and was very honest. Went back again and purchased a second vac for our daughter. Great place, great service and product.

Surreal experience today. I stumbled into this shop by accident, intending to go to the competing vacuum store down the street, with the intent of purchasing a replacement belt for the smaller of our two vacuum cleaners. The competitor quoted $ 7 for a package of two belts by phone this morning; this shop wanted $ 6 for one, which I questioned (still not realizing I was in the wrong shop), but handed the clerk my payment, which he handed back, put the belt on the counter behind him, and dismissed me out of hand, declaring the purchase not worth his bother. (You should really go to the other shop, which is two blocks away.)
