Heyburn Building

DO NOT RENT HERE! This is probably the worst managed commercial building in Louisville. They act nice until you sign the contract, then turn into total rip-​off artists. My HVAC never worked well, then totally failed in February (along with about 50 other units in the building) due to decades of poor maintenance.
The building manager, Cindy Oyler, just blew us off; as if working in near-​freezing temperatures was a minor inconvenience! That was the «straw that broke the camel’s back», so I gave up and moved to the Starks Building; which is managed much better, in far better condition, and costs about the same.
My lease was up, and I left the suite in FAR better condition than I found it, but now the landlord refuses to even refund my security deposit though I am 100% legally entitled to it.
Unbelievable that people can get by with this. It is simple theft.
Forget Heyburn. It is a dump and the owners/​managers are typical slumlords. There are far better buildings in Louisville.
