This store is a mess! No customer service at all because even though the employees are friendly, there is never more than two people working. The lack of staff also shows in the absolute chaos and avalanches of fabric bolts! I love their sales and coupons, but it is always a long process to dig through piles to find the fabric I am looking for.

Terrible customer service. No greeting, no cashier, no acknowledgment at all. I would not recommend this store to anyone with any regard to customer service.

I don’t need AA but I surely do need to form a new group for Fabricaholics Anonymous. This past month I have shopped at this store five times, in five consecutive weeks. Week number one — I was in need of purchasing a new sewing machine. My 1970’s machine finally up and died on me. I thought I had done my homework before shopping and went with one machine in mind(on the last day it was on sale). After seeing it I was concerned about how light weight the machine was. I asked the manager for her opinion and she recommended a different brand. She also pulled her copy of the upcoming ad and said it would be on sale starting in three days. So I bought some fabric that I just had to have and went on my merry way. Week number two — I absolutely had to make a trip to Hancock’s for a fabric sale that I just couldn’t pass. I didn’t purchase a machine because after doing research on the internet I found poor ratings on the recommended machine but 5 star ratings on the machine I originally was going to purchase. Week number three — The machine I wanted was back on sale so of course I had to buy it and save $ 80. I can’t just go in and buy the intended machine without also buying a bunch more fabric on sale. Week number four — I love my new machine but I absolutely must have extra bobbins and needles so I can sew efficiently. I couldn’t find the bobbins for my machine so I asked the manager where they might be. She showed me and politely advised me they would be 50% off on the Labor Day weekend. So I bought some more fabric and thread to make my trip here«useful». Week number five — I shopped the Labor day sale(all notions were 50% off). I also found some tremendous fabric prices. The night before I went I printed a coupon that was good for an extra 15% off the total purchase. I won’t tell you how much I spent but I will brag that I saved $ 183. Help, I need that Fabric-Anonymous group now!

I decided to replace the headliner in my car, but had never done one before. I found the perfect material, which happened to be on sale cheap. After telling the lady, who turned out to be the manager, what I was doing, she suggested the correct 3M spray glue to use. WOW, was she ever correct. It turned out wonderful and was much cheaper doing it myself.

If craft and upholstery fabric are what you are looking for, this is a good spot for it. I am underwhelmed due to lack of garment fabrics here, though. I suppose this location mainly focuses on homegoods and quilting. Also, I am not in favor of purchasing a sewing machine at a chain retailer such as this. Although the prices are low, the one on one service a dealer can provide is worth the effort.
