Golde Automotive

I have been going to Golde Automotive for many years. Best auto place in Louisville, I would not take my car anywhere else! I tell anyone who is looking for a mechanic to go to Golde Automotive. They are always so helpful and honest. We have brought many cars over the years and have never walked away unsatisfied.

Took my car in for a couple of repairs. 1) The back passenger window had fallen into the door and would not roll up and 2) the car run rough when sitting idle or when switching from drive/​reverse into park/​neutral.
They fixed the window and it is working great and without issue. The minor problem that I had was with the idle issue. They replaced the intake air control but the initial part was faulty and ended up getting stuck open just on the drive home. I took it back to them and they were able to swap out the defective, new part with a working (also new) part. After that the car ran fantastic.
I’m rating a ⁴⁄₅ star not because the initial part was defective (not their fault), but that the car did _​not_​seem fixed when I got it and I’m not sure the repairs should have been marked «done.» All in all I’m happy with the repairs and will likely be a return customer.

I’ve been using Golde Automotive since they opened a few years back and I think this team is hands down the best and most honest mechanic in Louisville. It might be a little drive out to the shop from where I live, but its worth every penny. The main mechanic is very informative and honest when it comes to repairing my 13 year old Honda CRV. Golde automotive has done major repairs (receding valves and AC belts) to simple oil and filter changes. I usually drop my car off in the evening using the key drop, they always call the next day with an estimate, I can pay over the phone and if time is short, I can pick it up in the evening with a spare set of keys. This method is so convenient for my busy schedule and I trust whatever is done will be completed correctly, at an affordable price and within a decent time frame. I highly recommend Golde Automotive to all my family, friends, and anyone out there looking for a great mechanic.
