Envoy Inn & Suites

I know I shouldn’t have high expectations when staying at low $ hotels, but seriously?!? The rooms smell like New Orleans (post Katrina). Old style TVs with outdated channel line ups and without any of the premium channels advertised (2 HBO and one SHOW according to the guest guide in my room). Free wireless — but no Internet connection so I’m not sure why they have wi-​fi? The universal machine has been out of order every time I’ve been here over the past 3 years. The coffee maker in my room did not work. They offer a free breakfast, starting at 6:30 am. They don’t tell you that you need to be there AT 6:30 if you hope to be out by 8 am! One person takes the orders, makes the orders, delivers and cleans up. And none of it in a hurry. This hotel is about on par with a backpackers hostel. But more expensive.
