It is a flea market. Go with the expectations of a flea market in mind, not an antique store or collectables market. Go to browse things like used bikes, cheap shirts, knock-off jewelry, kitchy blankets, colorful dresses, used glassware and table settings etc. Here are some things i liked about this flea market– it was pretty clean, the inside area was cool even on a very hot day, the venders were friendly, fun stuff to browse, and as a plus in my opinion, there were no sales of puppies or kittens. Outside, its cheaper for people to set up so there are more garage sale type items at those booths. Old tools, handmade decorations and household items etc The food at the Mexican restaurant inside was top-notch«street food» –tacos, sopes, etc. Two people can eat well for $ 12 – 15. Good quality meat, generous portions, fresh salsa with basic chips served with each order. I didn’t try the soups, but they looked like a popular option among the other diners. Most of the customers were Spanish speakers and I do speak Spanish but there would be no language barrier in English only either.

Antiques? Nahhhh, some old junk? Without a doubt! Interesting one stop? Definitely! Will I go back? Nahhh! Def indoor flea market at its finest! On a side note, some of the food really did look and good. So, if you’re up for an adventure and want some lunch I’d check it out!

I wouldn’t waste my time here again. I was really hoping to like this market but its all ghetto clothing and cell phone stuff, counterfeit North Face clothing… There was a great Mexican restaurant there called Flora de Jalisco I think. That was the highlight of the trip to Derby Park.

Not a good flea market if you are looking for antiques or treasures. Mostly cell phones and club wear.
