Cox’s Spirit Shoppe and Smokers Outlet Fern Creek

Called first to see if thwy had what I needed. The guy kept me on the phone to make 100% sure he was looking at the right thing. Very friendly people. Next trip to Louisville I’ll definitely go back. Had a good selection of everything I was looking for!

More than just a liquor store. They have a great selection of Cigars in large humidor. Made the trip to meet Four Roses, Master Distiller yesterday. He personally signed two bottles for me. The staff was very friendly. Check out their newsletter. Lots of events & opportunities to learn about wine, bourbon & cigars.

I really should have more check-​ins here yet it shares the same parking lot of another establishment I frequent. It’s funny that a year or so ago the name of this business– specifically «Smoker’s Outlet» deterred me from going inside. Though it advertised Beer & Liquor I imagined the place primarily being for a smoker, which I am not. I imagined a few beers– mostly domestic being sold here and imagined a smalls section of the store set aside for that. Since I’ve stepped inside this store, I’ve realized my ignorance. This place is well stocked and has all the domestic, imported, and craft beers that any customer would want. I like that this place has all the good bourbon and Tequila on the shelves. A couple of other liquor places I’ve been to carry these behind the counter and I hate making my choice like that because I feel rushed. Every time I’ve been in here the people are super friendly– they acknowledge I’m there with a friendly face and conversation yet give me my space to make my choice. I’ll continue going to this location when I’m in the area. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I have another current favorite liquor place near me and the Woodford Reserve at Cox’s Smokers Outlet is 2 dollars higher at Coxs. This place definitely has the chance of becoming my favorite in the future if they continue being so helpful and continue with the good service.

It’s a new stop for beer, the people are very nice, always been really friendly. They are right in front of DAKSHIN… so anytime I stop for to-​go (which is often) I grad a 6 pack from them.
