Why in the world am I home on New Years Eve writing this Unilocal Review? I’m recuperating from visiting this Endodontist on Monday. It was a very positive experience. Dr. Brian Cook was able to remove a bridge from the back three upper teeth of my mouth and redo a root canal that had aged and had decay plus an abcess. Then he put the bridge back in my mouth and proceeded doing an apico surgery above the root of the very back tooth. He removed a portion of the root, an old broken dental file, and abcess from above that tooth. Two and a half hours later I was done. I was given very clear printed instructions on care for the area after the surgery. He also made sure that he wrote a prescription for the appropriate antibiotic. Throughout the procedure he made sure I was comfortable and numbed sufficiently. Mid way between the two procedures he gave me a break to get up, walk around and use the restroom. His office was very professional to deal with. They gave me an initial estimate. Closer to the procedure they contacted me and provided me with the patient responsibility portion and what the dental insurance would cover. They handled all the billing of insurance and accepted my patient responsibility payment in the form of a credit card. Not that I want to go through anything like this again, I wouldn’t hesitate coming back here or recommending them.
