The sledding hills are small. It was not too packed and parking was close. It’s kid friendly

Yay! I’m a fan. Played Disc Golf here. The course is hella-tough but very fun. Bring bug spray and an axe to chop down trees for when you throw your disc in the woods. Also brush up on your survival skills in case a zombie apocalypse occurs while you’re out there and you need to start up a new society. And read Lord of the Flies.

Park is great… but 10TEN speed bumps over a short one mile stretch is ridiculous! Not to mention the new parking spaces are horrible. How do you turn around?

Yay disc golf! This park is definitely out in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive. A pretty expansive park, it is very wooded and plenty of parking from what I’ve experienced so far. There are ample garbage cans throughout to help keep the park clean. The disc golf course(where we spend most of our time) is challenging, but fun. A full 18 holes, each one quite different. While it is wooded and there is a good chance that if you play anything like me you will get plenty of time in the trees, there are also paths set up to be able to get in to retrieve your frisbees. One downside I will say with the pretty trees is ticks. Yup, there are plenty of them. Esp after such a mild winter. So bring the Off!

In order to give this review an appropriate rating, I have to completely negate the fact that I am awful at disc golf. If I were rating my disc golf skills, I’d give myself a one star. Including my handicap, I think I got par once, possibly twice. But I’m not going to push my luck. Still, the park itself was quite lovely. Since we mostly stayed on the course the whole time, I’d better just talk about that. As with any disc golf course(yeah right, like I know what I’m talking about), there are 18 holes. Don’t believe me? Check out the map: Now, as I was saying, 18 holes. We got through 13 in an hour and a half, walked about 1.5 miles to do so, and threw our discs at least 60 times. Probably 40⁄60 went into the trees. Dang, this course has a lot of trees. The good thing is that the park maintains their course very well. They even laid mulch for slopes that are particularly steep. Even with my tendency to throw left and/or into the trees, I actually loved it. Not a lot of people seem to frequent this park, which is a shame for them, good for me. On second thought, pretend you didn’t read this review. These are not the droids you’re looking for…
