This company is a Mitsubishi 5 Diamond Service provider. Meaning that Mitsubishi extends the warranty of its products if this installer installs them and they are specifically trained to install and service Mitsubishi. I chose this company for this simple fact. Having said that, I had a Mitsubishi Mr. Slim installed March 2012($ 3550) and it leaked into the attic space ruining drywall and walls in my master closet. They came out and fixed the leak but not the drywall damage. The winter of 2013 the compressor on the unit went out and they came and replaced it, the part was under warranty(7years) but all labor(1yr only) and ancillary parts were not, therefore, I was given a $ 1000 bill for this replacement compressor. The unit has never been the same and since the replacement, I was just told by Wil Chapman the owner of the company that they have done all they can and that I should contact another Mitsubishi service provider for future warranty and service needs. Completely unacceptable customer service and product support from Chapman Heating and Cooling. I contacted Mitsubishi and they said they would be investigating this as they will not tolerate Diamond installers that shirk responsibility. Do not use this company. Supporting documents to the above allegations have been sent to Mitsubishi.
