I love Calospa! When I was in school I was able to set up a rotation with Dr. Calobrace. He is an amazing man and I was truly impressed. He was in the middle of writing research papers and flying around the country to speak at different conferences. (I shouldn’t say in the middle of as he is constantly doing this) The impression I came away with was that he is intensely caring and wanted to do what was best for each patient we saw as well as staying up to date on best techniques and treatments. This is exactly the kind of physician that you want working with you. He is constantly researching new products and offering more services through the spa and the aesthetic center. Something to note is that he is the leading provider in the area and quite possibly in the country for breast augmentation. His techniques are studied by other physicians. Also, while on rotation, I saw a lot of people in the medical industry come to him for consultation and treatment. That says a lot about him for so many others that work in medicine to put their trust in him! Another important thing to note is that he tries to surround himself with nurses and staff that work hard and have the same caring attitude toward patients. He has built this very successful spa and treatment center thanks to a brilliant vision and really hard work. (I’ve never met someone that works so hard. Anyone else would have been retired after such great success but not him!)

First time getting a 50 minute signature massage at this spa. It’s a gorgeous entrance down to the spa level. A sauna, shower, products, chocolates, and tea are just some of the free perks of coming here. Everyone was very nice beginning with the people at the front desk. Everything was done at a very professional and top of the line level. I’d definitely return again.
There was even a private party being held as well, so there’s that too.

My mother-​in-​law and I have been to many salons and were excited to try CaloSpa. When we first got there we thought, this is a beautiful place. However, this salon is just like any other salon in which the non-​clinical staff gossip about their patients. It’s unfortunate because salons can easily get a negative stigma about poor staff. The staff was definitely prompt but just know, you’ll most likely be the topic of conversation as soon as you exit their doors.

I had a horrible spa experience there recently. The communication is off between employees and they made it stressful as a guest. Not to mention I’ve had a higher quality massage at less expensive places.

I recently had a procedure done here and I wasn’t thrilled. The doctor forgot to go talk to my family after surgery to let them know how things went. The incisions look like a 3 year old cut them. I was very upset which I expressed to the doctor. He seemed to brush it off and then ask me if I would buy his $ 100 scar cream. I’m not impressed with this place at all. I’ve heard so many awesome reviews but I didn’t seem to see what was so great. Not to mention you might want to clear your day when making am appointment. You will wait forever. I’ve waited an hour for the doctor to come into my room. That doesn’t include the time in the waiting room. The staff was friendly but I came for the procedure not for the smiles.

Love every second I am there! The staff is warm, friendly, professional & knowledgeable. CaloSpa is my new addiction! I’ve been 4 times this month for massage therapy after falling & breaking my wrist. Cindy & Amy are WONDERFUL!!!

The only true spa around. You always feel pampered. I agree that the 1-​star review seems fishy.
