Bearno’s Pizza

I’ll start with the positives. First and foremost, ChiPs was playing on the television. YES!!! Not skimpy on the toppings, we got a ½ sausage and ½ cheese. Plenty of both. Flavor was good, nothing exciting but not bad. We had been driving all day and we were starving so anything was good. Service was good, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Now for the negatives. Breadsticks weren’t that great and ridiculously salty. My husband and I wanted the garlic cheese but thought the kids wouldn’t eat them so we got breadsticks and no one cared for them. The sausage on the pizza didn’t have any seasoning or spice, kinda boring. Seating was odd. We were in a booth which was normal booth type seats with 2 tables pushed together. It was awkward for those of us on the end.

Ordered 2 mama bearnos today. pizza arrives right on time and fresh & hot. Always fantastic. My favorite pizza for sure.

Eat here without fear.
Good salad. Great service. Good pizza. Pizza is on a medium style crust. Sausage was really tasty. Sauce and mozzarella. It ain’t brain surgery.
We stopped on our way back to St. Louis and certainly would come here again.

Carry out. Super large mom’s special with extra pepperoni. $ 33.05. Lots of Hamburg quite salty. 10 total slices of pepperoni. Good taste but Very disappointing. Super large is same size as other places large. Going back to papa johns.

Crust is terrible very similar to frozen pizza cardboardyness, toppings were average.

We ordered a large two topping pizza for carry out, it was very good and hot. It was really in 20 mins. It was a little more than other pizza places but it was fresh and very good. Ask them for a coupon before ordering, save a few dollars. I wish they offered butter garlic crust that would be great.

Delicious pizza! I use their coupons and get a Medium Mama Bearno for $ 17.99. It has everything on it and delivery is fast. Everyone is courteous and very pleasant. Never had a wrong order. Other items on the menu good too. Like the meatball hoagie!

It pains me to write this review as I’ve been a patron of Bearnos for going on 10 years (at the Highlands location) without incident. Tonight, however, after yearning for a mama bearnos all day, I placed an online order for a medium pizza with half mama bearnos toppings and half pepperoni as my husband doesn’t enjoy the mama. If you’ve ever used this online ordering system you know it’s outdated at best, painful at most but after sitting on hold for 5 minutes I figured it was better than nothing. I specifically put the pizza making instructions in the comments section as I knew this was an abnormal request. When my pizza arrived it was not as ordered or clarified by my comments. The pepperoni half was actually all sausage with a handful of pepperoni and zero sauce or cheese. Without making this long story any longer, the gist of it is that the manager, Debbie, was not very helpful in resolving this issue and unfortunately as I have since relocated outside of the Highlands area, this is my closest Bearnos and I will not be patronizing them any longer. While I encourage you to walk in and sit down I would have to say stay far away from an online order.

That pizza was delicious, thin crust, and stuffed super-​high. A couple beers on tap which is my preference. Wish I’d saved space to try the pie!

I believe this store is the original location before it became a local chain. I have dined in and had delivery for the last several years and have always had excellent food and service from the preston location. The mama bearno pizza is wonderful.

We went there for Mother’s Day since every other place in the area was packed with long wait times. It was not crowded so we were able to sit down right away. The server was a young guy who was pleasant and friendly. The pizza was really good and I heard the buffet is great so I will go back to try it. It is a small place but we enjoyed ourselves especially after a couple reasonably priced pitchers of beer.

Pizza and other options, all very good. Service can be a little slow but is nothing unreasonable. Beats any major chain thats for sure. If you’re a meat lover you have to try their all-​meat pizza, it is fantastic. This place is definitely worth trying out if you’re on the fence. They also have a pretty easy to use online ordering interface.

We had lunch at Bearnos on Saturday. They have a great buffet with many varieties of pizza, chili, meat balls and spagetti, lazanga, and french bread. Great brownies and cinnamon pizza for desert. Very reasonable price. A definate must if you like pizza.
