This is a pool hall, no doubt about it. This is what any place that wants to be considered a billiard room should be. Regulation tables, good equipment, bar snacks and a café(not sure the hours on the café) and bottle beer. Two stories, it’s an old bank(hence the name) and the old vault door is open. The pro shop is inside the vault, pretty sweet. They work on sticks and sell them too. Maybe this is why everything is always in top notch shape. When you have an owner that is an enthusiast it almost always a great combination. When I leave louisville I’ll hope to find more places like this in my travels. A+ guys.

Just visited Louisville this past weekend. While walking for dinner on East Market street we stumbled upon this classic pool hall. This is the kinda place real pool is played with many old school games going on. I would come back to Louisville just to shoot pool here!

I’ve come across some hard, mean pool halls in my life; this one is better than most. Built inside of an old bank, and no bar boxes. Get yr long game ready. And be wanting to play one ball or nine ball. Beer only. 9 ball tournament on Tuesdays – $ 10 entry. Owner: this place is a gem, I hope you never change anything.

This is a solid pool hall. It’s oriented towards playing the game. The tables are of great quality and definitely not beer spilled tables found in a lot of bars. They have snooker as well. It can be a great time with friends.

This is a no-frills pool hall, but it’s not pretending to be anything else. If you’re looking for something that isn’t a stinky, dark room in the back of a bar then this is definitely the place for you. All of the equipment is really nice, the staff are friendly and helpful(even when you’re a girl who has no idea what she’s doing), and they make a mean meat & cheese plate.
