Great service, juciy steak, good fried pickles and very friendly. I prefer the aspen blue. iI always get it medim. The place is a thumbs up.

Went there for the first time last night with my fiancé. Got there around 830, it wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away. Our first server greeted us, and we asked what she recommended. She was very helpful, but then Kristen came over and said she’d be taking care of us, so I guess our other server went home. Ordered my steak medium, and my fiancé did too. Mine came out more on the well side, and my server asked if it was too done, I told her yes but I didn’t want to send it back. (I’m a server and I get it, things happen) I wasn’t upset about it. My fiancés steak was cooked PERFECT and it was AMAZING! It freaking melted in my mouth it was so delicious! Then the manager comes over and said my server told her the steak was too done, offered to get me anything else I wanted. I told her no, it was ok, and it really was. She insisted and I declined, and she took it off my bill anyway. The staff at this place are beyond nice. The fact that my server even told the managed my steak was over cooked was going above and beyond. The food was delicious and we will absolutely be back. It showed they truly care about the guest here. Way to go Aspen Creek! Keep up the great work!

My family always loves going here! We have always had great service and good food here. No complaints from me.

Excellent service from Aaron. Went on a Friday night and expected to wait since the waiting area was full… within 15 minutes we were seated. Steak and Salmon salad were great. Food came out quick and perfectly cooked to order. Manager even comped our chips and artichoke dip as a welcome since it was out first visit. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Food is good, busy place. Carry out can be an adventure especially when parking for carry out is used every time for customers not getting carry out. I was told mgmt cannot control it, guess I won’t be getting care out any longer. Also while sitting down by the carry out area for my food, bar tender came over and took the extra seats. Please build a new carry out area soon with parking.

It was good nothing fancy salad nice and cold hot food was good & hot our server Jake did a good job.

Aspen Creek is my fave restaurant in all of Louisville. I have many favorite dishes, but my top two are the Double Bacon Cheeseburger and the Asiago Chicken Pasta. The chips, salsa and queso are amazing. The salsa is very fresh and tastes awesome. It’s a must have app! My fave dessert is the chocolate cake. Mmmmm. Great happy hour prices for drinks too. Service is fabulous, I’ve never had a bad waiter. I’ve been a loyal customer since they opened in Feb 2009 and I’ll continue my patronage for many years to come!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Louisville. Everything I’ve eaten here has been fantastic and it usually comes out quickly. The fried pickles are the best in town. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that the prices have increased a lot since they first opened. I still love the place.

Blue cheese steak here is some of the best I have ever eaten. It is very juicy with not too little and not too much blue cheese. The drinks are mixed very well too.

We love it here! Never had a bad experience and all the food has been awesome. Ask for Skye, she is the best waitress! The also have really good happy hour specials.
We visit here at least twice a month, sometimes more than that! Thinking about going tonight!!!

Our favorite place to go out to eat! The food is consistently out of this world delicious, but even more important, it’s so affordable! We have been over a dozen times and always try to order something new. So far there has not been a single item I wouldnt order again and again.
I can tell that the employees really enjoy their job, which makes for a more pleasant experience for us.
The décor, the music, and the hospitality make for a great place to go relax and enjoy some pow-​chika pow wow shrimp or amazing spinach-​artichoke dip, a few tall cold blue moons, and for the lady… just close your eyes and pick any cocktail on the menu and I guarantee she will LOVE it.
In a world of disappointing eateries and dirty, smelly places to go and unwind, Aspen Creek has got this thing figured out.
We always do the call ahead seating because there is a good chance this place is going to be packed on any given day of the week!

Take out tonight. Called ahead and it was ready in 15 minutes. I got the Salmon Salad and my fiancé got the Spicy Chicken Salad. The waitress showed me my order to make n sure it was correct and rang me and I was out the door. Quick and efficient. The salads were good and it as nice not having to wait in line.

3 stars for the food, 1 extra star for expedient, friendly service.
I don’t know why it took me so long to realize that civilization still exists past Gene Snyder (265) on Bardstown Rd. Well, I finally did and hubby and I decided to give Aspen Creek a try this Friday night. Since it is 8pm on a Friday night, we were prepared to hear the 45min-​1hr wait time upon seeing the full parking lot. But we must have missed the Happy Hour crowd, we were seated within 5 minutes of entering! True to its name, Aspen Creek is decorated like a warm, comfortable wood cabin. Most of the seats are 2, 4, 6 top cozy booths with high divider panels.
Aspen Creek’s menu is a crowd pleaser: steaks, chicken, pizza, burgers, pasta as well as «home favorites» are all there. Hubby chose the thin crust pepperoni pizza and I was glad to order shrimp and grits. Hubby raved about the pizza as one of the best he’s had. My shrimp and grits on the other hand… was a bit… no, very salty. It had lots of bacon and tender shrimp, but that lobster cream sauce was just so very salty… I managed to eat only half of it. I did not even want to eat the rest of it as leftover the next day. Sighhhh, I won’t be getting it the next time. We also shared the Granny’s Apple Delight for dessert. It was the perfect amount of too-​sweet gooey goodness to erase the salt in my mouth. It was definitely worth the calories!
I do want to applaud the service team’s awesome teamwork. Their timing was impeccable. Our drinks were never less than half full. The food came out a lot faster than we had anticipated for the full house they had at the time. Different runners came by to drop off drinks and food. From the time we set foot in the door, drinks, entrees, to ending with desserts, it was a expedient (but not rushed) 1.5hours! We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu and especially to take advantage of their generous Happy Hour offerings.

If you like macaroni that tastes like it came from a box, then this is the place for you. The service was also very poor.

Be sure to check your food before you leave with it for carry out orders. Requested medium rare streak, was sent home with a well done. For those who normally eat their meat juicy, you know this is a terrible experience to be presented with leather for dinner.
Shrimp and grits were great, and the portion was massive. I had the left overs for lunch the next day. They heated up well too.
The bartender was friendly, and served me a beverage while I awaited for my take out. The bar area is nice with large televisions for sports fans. The bar area dining was a little crowded however. Very little room to walk in between and around other patrons at tables.

I’ve been here a total of 3 times. First time was back in 09 or 10. The dish I had ordered then was not good (my taste buds though). I didn’t make a fuss because it was my fault for ordering something that I didn’t know what it tasted like. However, the waitress that checked in on us had asked me why I hadn’t eaten my meal. I explained the situation and that it was ok. Everyone isn’t going to like everything and I was ok with the loss. I really was. She insisted on exchanging it though. I thought this was wonderful of her. Don’t get that kind of service many places theses days.
Second time I went was a few months ago for girls night. I had the Hawaiian chicken dish. It was delicious! Everyone in our party loved their meal as well as their drinks. Yum!
Third time I went was last weekend. Food as good once again. No complaints here. I’m sure I will be visiting again in the future.

First off the food was good! However the service left a bit to be desired. The waitress left our drinks empty and did not check on us. Others had to bring our food to the table.
When our meal was finished the nonexistent server promptly left our bill, I paid the bill and still left over a $ 10 tip. The nonexistent server picked up the payment and looked at the tip and she had the nerve to shake her head as she walked back to the kitchen. I was so upset at her since of entitlement I wish I had not tipped het at all. After all all she really did was take our order.
I seriously doubt I will ever go back there again!

Reliable, but often average food and overly salty for my taste. No effort to add healthier items to the menu. Like whole wheat or muti grain pasta, lower salt/​sodium, or reduced fats or sugars.
Kind of on par with Applebees, Chili’s, O’Charlies, and other similar mid range chains.

Aspen Creek is just meh. It’s a chain restaurant by the same people who own Texas Roadhouse (which I do not care for.) The food is OK; I’ve had the chicken sandwich and house salad or something similar everytime I’ve been and everything has always been just on par with something you would expect to pay $ 9.00 for. This is certainly not on the top of my dinner destinations list.
