Applebee’s

Went in for a steak this evening. I ordered it «medium-​rare». It came out very well done. They cooked me another and the manager watched as I cut it open. It was laughably rare. She apologized and took it in the back. I left because I was hungry and didn’t want to wait for a third steak. The kitchen staff obviously needs training.

The waitress was not inviting at all
When ask about items on menu she hardly responded however she seem to have a different much more pleasant attitude with her own race (White). We waited for our food longer than we thought it should have taken and when we received our order let’s just say Mc Donald’s would have been better choice

The one star is only bc you have to rate. This place is fucking gross. The waitress teeth look like she burnt them and did meth her whole life. The managers hands. Look like a zombie chewed them and there dried blood covering them. My soup came out after 30 minutes and before my app. Then to have the manager come tell me they don’t have the app I asked for, (after 45 minutes) and the chips and dip just now came out with a fly on it to join us. What the fuck I will NEVER EVER EVER be back this place is ABSOLUTLY sick

Just stay away. If you must have Applebees, drive on down a few miles and enjoy. It’s not much better but it’s better. I have been here 4 times. Every time it smells like a dirty was rag. Service was shit, and food came out wrong or poorly prepared. I’m not sure how this store is still open. Hahaha! As I am typing this, the couple in the booth next to us had to send their food back for a second time! This place is just a disaster! Ahhhhhhh!!!

This place is nothing special. The waitress we had was annoying. Constantly interrupting our conversation, brought us dirty dishes for our appetizers and got our orders wrong. I understand that mistakes happen but coming from someone that was once a server himself, all of this could’ve been avoided with just a little more attention. Will not be coming back to this place.

We had a good experience here. Ate lunch today and had good service. The food was pretty good too and the price was great.

I came here with my work colleague on our way from Louisville Airport headed to Tell City, Indiana. We were both starving, since neither of us had eaten for 8 hours, so we decided to try and find a place to eat as we were driving along Dixie Highway. Most non-​chain/​non fast food restaurants were closed so our options were McDonald’s, Wendy’s, etc. and then Applebee’s. We pulled into the parking lot, unsure of whether or not it was open (it was around 8:30pm) and headed inside.
One guy was sweeping and mopping and cleaning tables, and since there was no host (ess), he stopped cleaning to seat us. We waited for 20 minutes before the waiter for our section finally came over to take our order. We asked for our drinks and then immediately placed our appetizer and entrée orders, as we were starving.
About 20 minutes later, our food finally came out and we ate. The food was decent, but then again, like I told my colleague, they could have served me breaded poop and I would have thought it was decent because of how famished I had been.
For an appetizer, we did the «build your own sampler» with mozzarella sticks, sliders, and spinach & artichoke dip. The mozzarella sticks had a nice, crisp breading. The sliders were decent and had some sort of «special» sauce on it (a.k.a. russian dressing). The dip was cheesy and yummy, but nothing special. The chips for the dip were sort of stale/​greasy.
For my entrée, I ordered the teriyaki shrimp pasta (under 550 calories). It was supposed to come with sugar snap peas, broccoli, water chestnuts, and mushrooms, served over whole wheat pasta with a teriyaki sauce and shrimp. When the plate came, I couldn’t even tell it was a pasta dish because it was just covered in broccoli. After moving some of them out of the way, I found my noodles which were drenched in too much sauce, and then was disappointed to discover the presence of only 2 sugar snap peas, some mushroom crumbs, and no water chestnuts. To their credit however, there were plenty of shrimp in my dish.
My colleague ordered the Florentine ravioli with chicken. Halfway through the meal, a waitress came out with a plate of chicken saying that the chef realized he’d forgotten to add the chicken and dumped it onto his dish. Not the most professional move, in my opinion.
Anyway, be warned that the service here is really slow. The staff is friendly enough, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that I almost passed out from hunger. However, there are plenty of televisions set up around the place to keep you saved from boredom while you wait.

Avoid, poor customer service, been three times not one good experience
