Ah, Whatta ‘Bout Mimi

So I called Martha frantic because I messed up with my guy. Nothing too serious but I was wrong and needed to get back into his good graces. She put together the most awesome basket of chocolate chip cookies, truffles, and gourmet popcorn.
She helped me with some ideas and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. The customer service was outstanding!

I work close to this spot and have made random stops in on the walk back from lunch with coworkers for a sweet fix. They have a large assortment of gifts, flowers, balloons, cards, plush animals and more. They have a chocolate counter full of truffles, bites and other decadent looking pieces of chocolate. Mimi also has packaged snacks and sweets including a big jelly belly dispenser like the ones in the mall candy shops. :)
I had not until this week ever ordered anything to be delivered to someone from here. Two thumbs up on everything about the experience with my first order! I called late Monday morning to see about having an assortment of balloons and snacks delivered to my boyfriend. I was busy at work and unable to check out the website long enough to make a clear decision on what I was ordering. I told the lady what I was looking for, about how much I wanted to spend and a few things that the recipient would like as far as snacks/​sweets go. She was very helpful and patient with me in selecting what to put in the bag and what types of balloons to use for the birthday arrangement. Dudes are harder to order things like this for I think and so I was worried and did not want it to be too feminine. She assured me that they would only use more basic colors and stay away from pinks and things like that. I also did not know if they could still manage to deliver the goods on the same day since it was already late morning. She said that would be no problem and said they would have it over in the next little bit. True Story. I got a text from my beau within the next hour or so stating he saw his surprise in his office.
A big thanks to Mimi and all of her staff who helped make my boyfriend’s kickoff birthday week surprise a hit. I will be taking advantage of this local spot more often now… and not just for my sweet tooth fixes. :)
