Kings may not look like much and is in a, somewhat, weird location but it’s a good place to get your Chinese food fix from. The portions are large and pricing is on par with what you would expect. We’re not too adventurous so I can’t speak to the quality of the entire menu. We primarily stick to the general tso’s chicken, beef teriyaki, crab rangoon, chicken fingers and pork fried rice. If you can find the right mixture of dinner combo’s you can feed your entire family with plenty left over. I use Kings to compare all other Chinese food restaurants against. I can’t think of anytime when I thought that someone else had a better local Chinese joint. Wait times can be long on Holidays, call early and be patient. While this can be frustrating, I can’t knock them down for being popular. They only have so much room to work with.

More than meets the eye. I drove by this place every day for over a year and never gave it much thought, but one night decided to give it a try. Wow! For a small local Chinese food joint in the middle of nowhere I was pleasantly surprised. My wife’s orange chicken was the best of both of our meals. Not a lot of that goopy sticky sauce that most Chinese places use. My triple delight was delightful as well. Not a huge amount of flavor, but good nonetheless. The true hit was the egg and spring rolls. Perfect crisp with fresh vegetable inside. In fact, that was the best part of all the food, the fresh vegetables. No canned mushy veggies here. Will be back for my next Chinese food craving for sure.

Not bad for Loudon Chinese food! King’s Chinese Restaurant is a family owned and operated Chinese restaurant in Loudon, which is now located in the former Rymes building across the road from the NHMS south gate and Shell station. The place has a cozy full service dining room with 4 booths and 2 tables and a takeout counter, kitchen is not visible from the front. They offer the standard Chinese menu offerings and house specialties at reasonable prices, most dishes/items under $ 10. 26 Special Combination Platters served with pork fried rice & appetizer are offered for lunch($ 7.00-$ 8.50) and dinner($ 7.50-$ 9.25). I stopped in here recently for lunch takeout from the recommendation of my boss, who lives in Loudon and orders from King’s quite often. I ordered 2 lunch combinations for takeout and the food was ready in about 15 minutes after ordering. The L13 Chicken Chow Mein with Egg Roll & Pork Fried Rice($ 7.00 plus tax) was quite good and very tasty. The chow mein dish had a mix of celery, onions, sprouts, cabbage, and tender pieces of boneless chicken in a savory sauce. The egg roll was firm and filled with cabbage, celery, minced pork, and seasonings. The pork fried rice was standard with a soft texture and pieces of roast pork. The L26 Kung Pao Shrimp with Chicken Fingers & Pork Fried Rice($ 7.50 plus tax) was pretty decent. The main dish had a mix of small shrimp(not deveined!), green peppers, red peppers, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, peanuts, celery, and onions in a mild spicy brown sauce. The 6 chicken fingers were firm outside and a slightly greasy coating with boneless white meat chicken inside. Overall, the food tasted pretty good and portion sizes were good. CLOSED on Mondays

Another one of those reliable strip mall Chinese takeout joints. Just a mile from New Hampshire Motor Speedway where we race. The portions are massive. A bunch of us chip in $ 10 each and we can order enough food to feed half the race track. Food is consistent and pretty good. It can take up to 45 minutes from call in to pick up, so we usually have to plan a head if we want to eat at a decent hour.
