Stopped in to get lemonade for my pregnant wife who had a craving. We found a nice Italian lemon soda and two chocolates. Not a huge selection for sure. But the service was quite pleasant. Quick and efficient.

Never been here, called this morning to inquire about natural antibiotics. Woman answered phone «Moses», I asked how she was, reply was «what do you need». I asked if I needed to speak to someone else as I felt I was bothering this person. She replied with «I’m tired, what do you need». I will go elsewhere and never step foot in this place.

I popped in to buy some Sage because it is the closest store to my house that carries it. When I walked in I was surprised to see a large selection of personal care items, herbs, and supplements. The food selection is pretty sparse and priced on the higher end, more expensive than Sprouts. However, the sale items are very cheap, and I ended up purchasing several items on sale. The sales ladies were very friendly. They gave me a frequent shopper card and told me that on my 8th purchase I would get 25 percent off. I will come back because to see what is on sale next week.

Update: I went back to this shop, and bought some grains from their bulk section, against my better judgment. Three weeks later, I have an infestation of grain moths, which I have NEVER had in five years of buying from food co-​ops and whole foods. Never again, Moses Kountry. Luckily, La Montanita has opened a west side outpost behind Cottonwood, so I can just go there, be assured of freshness and skip the pest-​infested grains in this place.

After a couple of visits here, I’m a bit confused if I should go 2 or 4 stars because that’s how different my stops have been.
The folks I’ve spoke to are always pleasant and seem to want to help, but from one to the other, they offer incredibly different advice for the exact same ailment. Including which supplement can be taken long term without damage versus not.
One of the items I wanted was out of stock so the woman took down my information and they called me within the timeframe given for it to come in once it arrived; great personal service.
There is a frequent shopper card for a % discount after so many visits.

Poorly stocked, poorly ran. The older lady running the cash register was rude and mocking to the older man checking out in front of me and was unfriendly and rude to me as well. Too many great health food store options in town to revist this poorly managed/​ran store.
