Good people, prompt service, no Kohana attitudes. I transferred all my stuff to them.

Keith is great. Rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes to get my order filled. Try to get that at other drug stores! Everyone here is friendly and takes the time to answer all your questions and make recommendations when requested.

I wish I could say I had the same experience as the other 2 reviewers on here. I have been using this Medicine Shoppe to get my dog’s medicine compounded and mailed to me in Los Angeles. It usually takes at least 48 hours to fill a compounded med, which seems fine. My problem has been with the mailing– no, actually, it’s about the communication.
The last three times I’ve ordered from them I am given a false date that the med has been mailed— for example, last week I called in a script Monday, followed up on Tuesday to make sure they’d received the voicemail (they had.) I checked back Friday to see if it had gone out and they told me YES, it went out THURSDAY. By the following TUESDAY I still had no meds for my dog*. I called again and they told me it went out FRIDAY. (Yah, sure.) It arrived the following WEDNESDAY and the receipt in the package told me they didn’t even run my credit card till SATURDAY! Who knows when I would have received this if I hadn’t bothered to call. I did complain (nicely) to a woman named Trish who listened but did not apologize for the misleading info. but did offer a tracking number. Not sure why no one else gave me this info.
I don’t get this place. Some people there are really helpful over the phone and some of them can’t be bothered.
Why the lies? I felt completely dismissed and LIED to. Not cool, Los Osos Medicine Shoppe. If this hadn’t been a repeat offense I would have chalked this up to a fluke bad experience, but sadly, it seems business as usual.
*I should mention that my vet told me this med can not be skipped or could cause my dog seizures. I planned enough time to have them send the refill, but when they can’t be honest about when it’s actually mailed out, it’s hard to know if my dog is going to be in an emergency situation with no meds left.

Keith cares. He’s gentle and approachable. You can count on him to get the job done. Staff is all great. A+++

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid. The owner, Keith is always friendly and prompt in filling your prescription. The store is also decorated with antique instruments of the pharmacy trade, which adds a nice ambiance (not like anybody is looking for that sort of thing). Much more friendly then the alternatives in Los Osos.
